Our signature event space, The Palm Court is an impressive setting for larger celebrations, accommodating up to 300 guests. With its striking architecture and elegant surroundings, it provides a breathtaking backdrop for your wedding breakfast, evening reception and unforgettable photographs.
The Weightman Suite
Rich in character, The Weightman Suite features beautiful original wooden panelling that creates an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere. Ideal for civil ceremonies of up to 60 guests and wedding receptions for up to 70, it's perfect for couples seeking a more intimate celebration.
Seaforth Restaurant
For relaxed wedding breakfasts and smaller celebrations, Seaforth Restaurant offers stylish brasserie dining for up to 100 guests. Inspired by Liverpool's maritime heritage, the restaurant showcases seasonal menus crafted from locally sourced ingredients.
Exceptional Dining
Your wedding menu is one of the highlights of the day, and our talented culinary team is dedicated to creating an unforgettable dining experience. Using the finest seasonal, locally sourced produce, we offer bespoke wedding packages featuring elegant canapés, beautifully presented three-course wedding breakfasts and carefully selected drinks packages, all tailored to your celebration.
Luxury Accommodation
When the celebrations come to an end, you and your guests can retire to one of the hotel's 179 luxurious bedrooms and suites. Preferential accommodation rates are available for your wedding party, ensuring everyone can relax and enjoy the occasion.

And it did not disappoint! The first time I visited the Municipal I was photographing bride prep in one of the lovely rooms. It was bright and spacious with a dressing room/bathroom area separate from the main bedroom. The second time I visited I was photographing a post-ceremony drinks.As a modern wedding photographer who specialises in city wedding photography, I was sooo excited for the Municipal Hotel to open. From arrival, the team looked after us and made everything easy including a special shout out to those who assisted with additional confetti. The bar team and those that oversaw the reception were superb. The room we had was lovely, well maintained and in keeping with the hotel's history.We were staying overnight as my son's wedding reception was being held at the Municipal. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The central bar and restaurant area was a hub for people to meet for coffee in the morning, meals, and drinks in the evening and help make it a wonderful experience. Could not be better located in Liverpool. Went for many walks and explorations. Staff, we’re all unfailingly friendly and helpful.We came from America for a wedding with family and friends. Our stay at the hotel was a real treat all the staff were great, right from check in to check out. The drinks reception was perfect, the guests loved the environment and the canapés went down really well. Our culinary team loves to showcase local flavours with a modern twist. A guest favourite is the Duck Scotch Egg, served in the Palm Court bar—a perfect blend of tradition and creativity
