In 2019, Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens opened its doors after a closure of nine years. This magnificent Grade I listed garden was nearly lost forever and has been the subject of the largest garden restoration in the UK. These spectacular and ancient gardens are now open to enjoy once again.
Your ceremony takes place on the jetty overlooking the serenity of the lakes, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature and wildlife. Up to 80 guests can watch you say your vows in this picturesque and unique location.

After a lakeside drinks reception, guests will make their way the comfort of The Courtyard. This newly-refurbished, private event space is nestled within the heart of the gardens. With exposed brick walls and oak-panelled flooring, this building has character and charm alongside modern conveniences such as air-conditioning and an in-built PA system. Up to 120 guests can be seated on the long wooden tables and rustic cross-back chairs. A variety of catering options are available to create your ideal wedding wedding breakfast menu which suits both your taste and your budget.
The Courtyard also offers two private outdoor spaces for your guests to use. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto the patio which is the perfect location for a live musician to greet your guests whilst they enjoy the afternoon sunshine. The Wine Garden is a unique area perfectly placed for garden games after your wedding breakfast and for guests to enjoy the cooler air in the evening . This walled-area has tables and chairs for your guests to use taking shade under the imposing Yew tree. Festoon lighting looms from above illuminating the private outdoor bar stocked with the finest wines, beers and spirits from the Leonardslee Estate.
