Situated in an elevated position within 44 acres of perfectly manicured grounds with views further afield to the rolling Scottish valleys, the impressive baronial castle oozes medieval romance and contemporary glamour. In addition to five areas to host your special ceremony, the castle offers fabulous locations for the reception and even boasts its own lounge bar, casino and wine cellar. The magnificent interior is sure to inspire your celebration; grand fireplaces, ornate furnishings, sweeping staircases and wood panelling combine with romantic modern touches to create a truly stylish backdrop. The Dining Room with its grand chandelier, oversized mirror, panelled ceiling and traditional coving pairs well with the Garden Pavilion marquee which is filled with natural light and soft draping to provide the perfect setting for the ceremony and reception. After the ceremony, guests can relax in the contemporary lounge bar, try their luck in the fabulous casino or enjoy a wine tasting experience or nightcap in the castle’s vintage wine cellar. The 44 acres of rolling lawns and panoramic views over the rolling Angus countryside are breathtaking and offer a host of lovely locations for memorable wedding photos. In the springtime, the rhododendrons close to the house and stables glow with bright colours, and a winter walk through the grounds is equally as spectacular. So nice to hear from you! The weekend far surpassed my every expectation...I knew it was going to be good but it was more magical and more amazing than I could have ever imagined! Everyone was so impressed with the castle and the organisation. The staff were just amazing...so helpful and dependable and friendly. You guys helped take all the stress away and we cannot thank you enough. It was truly a pleasure staying at the castle...what an exquisite venue and wonderful team. The entire weekend will remain one of my fondest memories and I suspect it will be the same for many of our guests. So nice to hear from you! We had an absolutely fantastic weekend and know that our guests all thoroughly enjoyed themselves too. Those who stayed were quite overwhelmed with the setting and were especially delighted with the surprise wedding!
