We could add things we wanted and take away things we did. It really was that easy. We had great communication all the way through. We then moved over to our toastmaster Chris the week before the big day, and he was really friendly and accommodating. He knew what he was doing and helped with the little things you don't think about, such as timing. We honestly had the best day! The ceremony was simple and short. The food with the wedding breakfast was fresh and delicious, even catering for those with dietary requirements. The evening party was great as well, with the DJ asking what kind of music we wanted. He nailed it when we asked for a variation of mostly rock music with some party bangers thrown in along the way.From first discussions with our wedding planner Sianne, we had no problems and everything was as we wanted. Sianne the events manager was a star she helped me over everything for the up coming day very friendly and easy to make a friend for life she isn’t awarded enough well done Sianne thank you for all your help and support I couldn’t have done it without her the food is excellent and the hotel is clean and everyone was happy with their stay I would defiantly recommendCan not fault this hotel they did everything they could to help make my big day special and they succeeded I had the best day They didn’t just look after me they looked after everyone ensuring everyone was pleased. We had regular meetings in which we spoke (and laughed) in detail about our plans and expectations. On the day, Chris and his team were very professional, really organized and accommodating. Everything ran so smoothly! We can't find anything to complain about. The food went down well and guests with dietary requirements were happy and catered for. It was a lovely relaxed day which everyone enjoyed. When it was time to check out, Vikash was on hand to help locate our wedding cards and presents which were stored out of sight. The only thing that let our day down was our local cheese supplier not turning up, we'd organized a wedding cake made out of wheels of cheese. Chris was very reassuring and supportive when he saw how disappointed we were. Including housekeeping, who we didn't see but we knew they'd been hard at work, the staff at the hotel were nothing short of amazing for us!Sianne was very personable and a great guide throughout the planning process. Right the way through our journey from booking the wedding to the morning after they were accommodating, friendly and professional. Sianne was our main contact and she made everything very easy and went through everything which needed to be done step by step as me and my husband had no idea where to start planning a wedding. She was so amazing working round our schedules as we work long and opposite hours to each other. We are always welcomed by every staff member and offered tea or coffee when we sat down, nothing was ever too much. She was always available and I knew that if I sent her an email I would get a response quickly which makes everything one thousand times easier when you're trying to get organised. She typed out our meetings perfectly and sent us a copy through the post after a couple of days of meeting with us. She worked with us when I wanted to stay in the hotel the night before and even swapped our rooms a few days before to a room which suited us better for what we needed. The venue was so warm and clean and decorated amazingly for our wedding and the staff who took charge of this asked our opinion before allowing guests back into the room. It was perfect but if I had wanted to change anything, it would not have been a problem. We had a few last minute cancellations as well and Chris, our master of ceremony, just made it seem so simple to cancel meals and rearrange the seating plan as people were sitting down to eat. The food was divine. I was so impressed with the effort and the presentation of each of our courses as well as the buffet and sweetie cart in the evening. They literally took care of everything. It was affordable and well worth every penny and more. I honestly can't put into words how much every member of staff made a difference in our wedding day. I can't recommend the service, the staff or the hotel enough.The staff at The Holiday Inn, Washington are amazing. From first booking the wedding 15 months prior to checking out the day after everything was just perfect. We had regular meetings with our wedding planner (Sianne) who gave us a lot of help and advice as at the start we weren't really sure what we wanted, nothing was too much trouble to her even though we changed our minds at every meeting. We decided on afternoon tea which was served on tea stands and shabby chic crockery which the hotel provided, as the wedding was late afternoon. We had a buffet early evening, then hot beef sandwiches late evening, all the food was top quality and plenty of it. We had the use of 2 rooms on the day and the setups were excellent, the attention to detail was amazing. The grounds of the hotel looked stunning which showed in our photographs. On the day everyone starting from the reception staff, the wedding planner, the master of ceremony, the waiters/ waitresses, bar staff (day & night) the hotel DJ and the Hotel General Manager ensured everything was perfect and exactly what we required. A lot of our guests also stayed at the hotel overnight and were thoroughly impressed with the standard of the rooms and the service they received.
