The heart of HARTA is our large event tipi, featuring a hardwood floor throughout, including the catering tent, and surrounded by Cotswold stone, ensuring comfort in all weather conditions. The sides of the tipi can be raised to bring the outdoors in on warm, sunny days or lowered to keep out the elements during wet weather, providing a versatile space that adapts to your needs. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, our tipi can accommodate your vision. For outdoor ceremonies, our waterside ceremony tipi offers an idyllic spot to exchange vows in nature, with a wooden floor to keep things comfortable. For those who prefer an indoor alternative or in the event of rain, we offer flexible spaces that maintain the beauty of your day, rain or shine. HARTA retreat also features unique glamping accommodation with four charming tipi units and the Copper Beech Barn—a beautifully converted barn nestled next to a magnificent 350-year-old Copper Beech tree. The barn offers luxury and comfort with an open-plan design, sleeping 2-4 guests, and is dog-friendly. Perfect for your wedding party or close family, it allows everyone to stay close and enjoy the tranquility of the retreat. On arrival we were greeted by great hosts and a fabulous authentic curry in the evening. The retreat is beautiful and every detail has been considered. The local area is amazing with beautiful beaches and walks.Had a wonderful stay here with my partner. We travelled by train from London which was really easy. Great hosts, great area and the best time. My husband and I have made a list of adventures, tree house, barge, yurt etc and this is definitely up there on our favourites list. - daniela c24/10/2024Lovely!Lovely!This place is absolutely gorgeous! We were very welcomed by Aaron and his daughter. They were lovely and super helpful throughout our whole stay. We stayed at the dancing deer. We used the outdoor kitchen and shower which was real fun. We cooked in the outdoor fire pit and burned some wood each night on the indoor wood burner. The tipi was always warm and cozy! Having a bath indoor was also lovely! We went for some really nice walks near by and there’s a close supermarket, 10min drive.This place is absolutely gorgeous! We were very welcomed by Aaron and his daughter. They were lovely and super helpful throughout our whole stay. We stayed at the dancing deer. This retreat is absolutely stunning. We were met by Aaron and Miranda who were extremely welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always at the end of the phone if you needed them. Aaron was lovely enough to come and help us light the fire pit on the first night. We stayed in dancing deer and luxury doesn’t come close to describing how beautiful this tipi is. Your surroundings are just stunning with open fields, a stream, pond with hammocks and then of course you have your tipi. WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! Harta retreat surpassed all my expectations. We have never felt as relaxed and comfortable as we did here. The Tipi’s have everything you need for a luxurious break, from under floor heating to roll top bath and one of the best beds we have ever slept in. We had a curry meal made by Aaron one evening which was so tasty and also a breakfast basket one morning, again amazing! Fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, croissants, and much more. Thank you so much to MirandaThis place is amazing! It is 5 star luxury in an absolutely beautiful setting. We have never felt as relaxed and comfortable as we did here. This time we could use the firepit and outside kitchen, which since out last visit has had a roof put on. There was a music event on while we were there and everyone made us feel welcome. Unfortunately due to having a month's rain in a day it did get rather muddy. The home made curries are amazing and must be tried. This is our second visit here. This place is amazing, you can really relax and chill out and once again Aaron and Miranda made us feel so welcome. This time we could use the firepit and outside kitchen, which since out last visit has had a roof put on. There was a music event on while we were there and everyone made us feel welcome. Unfortunately due to having a month's rain in a day it did get rather muddy. The home made curries are amazing and must be tried.

It has to be the pictures and videos shared during the speeches. They paint such a good picture of the couple and the story behind them. It's like reading a good love story !

Oh so many to choose from! The waterside setting, the little "arboretum" as we call it for its unusual trees, the "oasis" behind the barn for the woodland setting with the waterfall backdrop, the wild grass meadow with views to Exmoor....

A few yes ! And the farm itself has a bit of a celebrity history too, but we'll keep those stories for a relaxed evening by the outdoor fire when you come to stay :-)

Gosh another one that's hard too choose - again we are quite partial to anything Asian and anything with cheese, so they would be the first we'd pop into our mouths.

Depends on who you ask - the other half would say a curry of any sort as long as it's super spicy. As for me, staying true to my roots, it would have to be cheese - any kind ! Yum !

The diversity and beauty of the land. Nature in its absolute glory, with the waterside setting and small woodlands. The uniqueness of the tipis just adds to the magic.
