We loved Grub so much we planned our wedding a year earlier than intended to make sure we could use them! After getting engaged at Christmas 2023 we went to a wedding fayre at Grub in January 2024 and immediately fell in love with the place. At the time they weren't booking weddings beyond 2024 so after a quick discussion, my partner and I took the plunge and grabbed a date in July before it was gone! It was absolutely the best decision we could have made. Working with Caro and Grub was such a smooth process and they were always available for questions or advice. It's such a cool venue with oodles of personality and colours with super fun graphic photo spots! All of our guests absolutely loved the relaxed vibe and all the staff looked after us so well. Huge thanks especially go to Caro however who made our day go so smoothly, they were always there to grab us a prosecco, check in with us and keep us on schedule. We had several dietary requirements as well as a lot of kids and the team were so accommodating and made all the kids feel so welcome! This was my first time working at Grub as a photographer, hopefully it won't be my last, what a great venue! The staff were so helpful and really looked after me. Great communication and a lot of fun to work at. Plus it's a REALLY cool spot for photography, even on a really rainy day (the rain didn't stop that day!). We had a fantastic day and Grub was everything we wanted. Our guests loved it and commented on how unique the place was so that’s a massive success. We were getting married in May and felt a bit let down with our chosen venue to a point where we decided to drop couple of emails around to see if anywhere else we liked could accommodate us with a very short notice. Jules from GRUB to the rescue! Honestly she’s a true superstar along with the rest of the staff who made our day incredible. Everything was how we wanted and there was no stress, so we could just enjoy the day. All of our guests commented on how super special it was, the venue and the food got a lot of compliments.
