Perfect for a beautiful countryside wedding, with the barns rustic and original charm as the background for your big day, the venue has a capacity for up to 180 seated guests for the day and up to 250 in the evening. With a lawn for drinks & canapes, and the option to add a stretch tent for rain cover or shade, the barn is perfect if you are looking for a venue to personalise and bring to life once again! Venue Hire The venue runs from May-October each year. 2026 is fully booked, 2027 is £5,000 and includes: 3 day access to the venue (Day before the Wedding, the Wedding day and day after the Wedding Round tables & Classic Gold chairs Fairy Light Canopy Toilet building Wooden bar Raised stage Car parking facilities Outdoor drinks reception space including Stretch Tent for shelter/shade with lights & bunting, hay bales & pallets Although the Barn is not licensed for Legal Wedding Ceremonies, we can host beautiful Celebrant-Led Ceremonies, or there are many places nearby where you could get married (Southover Grange, Lewes Registry Office, Brighton Town Hall, Ringmer Church as examples) before coming to Gote Farm for your Wedding Reception. This venue is really special and you'll have exclusive hire and the chance to hold your wedding at a really unique and charming venue! The perfect menus and venues with Circa Events Gote Farm is run by Circa Events, and we pride ourselves on offering couples a flexible approach to their wedding breakfast. We can cater for every need, whether that’s a four-course fine dining meal with delicate canapés, or a succulent Sussex hog roast or BBQ served to your guests ‘family style’.

From start to finish (even during a pandemic) we had a great experience. Liv and Sara were so helpful in organising everything leading up to the wedding and always very responsive. The food was exceptional and everyone enjoyed the Mediterranean sharing platters. Special thanks to Ben and his team who made our day even more special!Circa recently catered for our wedding and I couldn’t recommend them enough. The presentation of the meals was superb and had the flavours to match. We were so chuffed with the service they provided, not only on the day, but their communication beforehand too. All of the guests commented on the food, especially the pizza! Many asking for the name of the catering team for their own weddings in the near future. The Staff's presence was fantastic throughout the day. We had a high volume of people who were alcohol free and circa were really helpful and sensitive about it. The food was exceptional. Every guest commented on how lovely the food was.
