Glenmorangie House Full Description
At Glenmorangie House, we understand that your wedding is one of the most special and memorable days of your life. We are very proud to have won Best Luxury Experience Award at the 2023 Scottish Thistle Awards due to the bespoke and immersive experiences we offer encompassing the very best of luxurious Scottish hospitality. Our dedicated team are on hand to discuss your wedding in full – from favours to flowers , we are just as excited as you are! We pride ourselves on being more than just a hotel; it’s our home and the Gaelic translation of Glenmorangie means “Glen of Tranquillity” which perfectly describes the House’s idyllic setting amongst the rolling barley fields with breath-taking views out to sea. Within the grounds are beautiful gardens, a secluded beach down the avenue of trees, 13th century remains of Cadboll Castle providing the perfect backdrop to your wedding photography. In 2021 the House got fully refurbished into a unique, sensory playground where each of our rooms have been designed to match our whisky making process. Our golden Morning Room is the perfect setting for a civil ceremony for up to 40 people accompanied by your Breakfast in our rich, copper Dining Room. Or head outside to find our tepee or colourful glass house amongst our secret gardens for a more quirky and unique outdoor wedding. Weddings are available from £4999 for overnight exclusive use to include the Wedding Breakfast, accommodation and a hearty Scottish breakfast for up to 18 guests.

A hidden gem in the highlands!

I cannot put into words how wonderful this venue is. It’s not a hotel, it’s a home from home. With the most beautiful location, food, quirky rooms and decor and the most warm and amazing staff. I would recommend it for a holiday as well as a wedding! It’s small and ideally only for intimate weddings of up to 24, but just the most amazing time. We had exclusive use for 3 nights for 24 of us in total (2 guests stayed at an inn locally as only 9 bedrooms) and everyone,, without exception was truly enchanted with it. There was a standing ovation for the chef and staff on the last night. They front of house staff joined in the dancing on our wedding evening and it was just the most wonderful experience. We have been there 3 times now and booked again for our 1 year anniversary! David, Amy and the team are superb and have created something very special.
