Duisdale House Hotel

What a find! A real jewel in the hotel industry crown. Very friendly staff, superb food and ever so comfortable lodges. Not the cheapest but great value for money & we will definitely return to this or the sister hotels.

We stayed at the hotel and had a sea view room which was discounted to £275 fir the night. The surroundings are breath taking. The hotel was lovely and Morag runs a tight ship. She is at the front of the house and is very professional, a credit to her employers. The food was fantastic and like I've stated the staff were extremely friendly. Thank you to Morag and get team

My husband and I booked our reception here following our wedding at Eilean Donan Castle in mid-July, including booking the entire hotel for ourselves and our guests for the wedding night. Morag did a fantastic job accommodating us, and the chef, Brian, created an absolutely wonderful menu for us. Morag also had menu order forms pre-printed so we could give them to our guests during the days beforehand and get the orders back to the hotel in advance, speeding things up for the kitchen. I can't stress enough that the food was incredible! We made sure we tried every single dish, and they were all fantastic. The entire group also had breakfast included the next morning, and that was delicious too. Morag was also very helpful in giving me an idea of what each of the rooms was…

We had the best time getting married at the Duisdale House Hotel. Our friends and family were so warmly welcomed at the Duisdale and Toravaig hotels. Morag McDonald and her team made sure the whole weekend ran smoothly from arrivals on Saturday morning through our wedding day and on to departures on the Monday morning! Brian the chef is amazing ... we could not have asked for a better wedding breakfast and the Saturday evening buffet and morning breakfasts were also very high quality! My wife and I chose this hotel for our recent wedding reception, and it was perfect. The location is simply stunning, with views over the sea and mainland in the distance. We were very fortunate with the weather during our stay, but even during a previous research visit in January the view was superb and the hotel cosy. The food was absolutely amazing, as prepared by the head chef Brian. The rooms are fantastic as well, and are both contemporary and classic in the feel of the decor. There was room for all of our guests, and they all felt welcomed and comfortable during their stay. If I had one gripe, it was the difficulty at times in getting hold of staff to discuss elements of the wedding planning in the build up, which I took to be a symptom of just how popular this venue is for weddings. However, this shouldn't detract from the overall experience of this hotel, which was wonderful.

We stayed in the Duidsdale for two nights before our wedding (at Eiliean Donan Castle) in March this year. We had a fantastic stay here and highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is gorgeous, with a beautiful lounge and stunning views. The staff we so warm, accommodating and professional – they looked after us and our guests (we were quite a large party) wonderfully. The food here is delicious – even the most fussy of our guests was impressed! We went to the sister hotel (the Skeabost) for our wedding reception as that is a bit larger. I cannot recommend these hotels highly enough – really exceptional.

Came here 17th August till 19th for a family wedding from the minute I arrived till I left on the Sunday was a great experience Room very quiet bed comfortable had great sleep. Room were spotless I had a room to the back which looked onto garden which they have a hot tub as well. Food was excellent staff were brilliant could not do enough for you that was from manager Moran to waiting staff and reception. Would definitely go back for a quiet few days so peaceful and relaxing even pebble beach just two minutes walk was great and so where views from hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel and wedding was fantastic too best weekend away for a long time. All staff credit to hotel.

The Duisdale House Hotel hosted our friends and family for an entire weekend of wedding celebrations. The hotel itself was even more beautiful in person than in pictures and the staff FAR exceeded our expectations. The service was 10 star. The rooms were impeccable. The food was better than 10 stars. We had multiple people arriving and departing different days and the entire staff rolled with the changes. We can't express HOW incredibly perfect our wedding weekend was here.
