Amazing wedding, so personal and wonderful teamAmazing wedding, so personal and wonderful team
The Gellifawr team are amazing. We had so many non traditional extras we wanted to add in (a treasure hunt, two cakes, dog guests, walking down the aisle together, speeches throughout the wedding, homemade decorations etc). They helped us with everything, were so lovely and supportive, and helped calmed us (me) down throughout the weekend. They set up some stuff for us and made it all look PERFECT. The venue is beautiful - outdoors, rural, but with excellent indoor spaces. The accommodation is so useful. We cannot recommend the venue or the team enough - absolutely amazing. A wonderful placeA wonderful place
Location is absolutely stunning. Lots of woodland and great views. Some minor issues during the planning of the wedding mainly due to their wedding coordinator leaving and having a new one take over. The actual wedding day went very well and everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The venue which was decorated by staff looked amazing, unfortunately we were not told we were supposed to take down and pack up the following day which was very surprising considering how much you pay to have a wedding here. You would expect that to be their job. We also had to deal with a very rude receptionist who had no interest in helping or answering our questions. Accommodation was great. Cottages could do with abit or updating though. Food during the wedding and at breakfast the following day was delicious. I think the venue need to show more interest in the weddings they have booked and possibly not have two on a weekend. I was constantly having to chase them up to answer my emails. Also they never checked in after the wedding to see if we were happy with everything. Although there were issues we would not change our venue as it is such a beautiful place and we had a great time with our friends and family.Location is absolutely stunning.
