We were honoured to be the first Hindu wedding ceremony at the Palace and Jade spent a lot of time with us to understand the requirements around the ceremony so everything could piece together smoothly. We appreciated the multiple site visits to walk through the day and especially the time Jade and the team spent with our suppliers - many who were new to the FP team and FP being a new venue for them. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend Fulham Palace as a great venue to get married!Jade and the team at Fulham Palace did all they could to make our day special. We got married in the church next to the Palace and it was beautiful to walk through the gardens to the reception (despite a bit of drizzle!). Various areas available to use as part of the standard cost e.g. courtyard for drinks, marquee for food, and then the internal state rooms for dancing etc. with an external terrace with seating) which worked really well. Also great you can have music and dancing until late (our DJ finished just before 1am) as we found other venues in London were very strict on this front. The staff and event team at FP (we had Chichi) were absolutely lovely and extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would HIGHLY recommend, we had the most fantastic day and all our guests were extremely complimentary. Such a great venue with wonderful grounds. We were planning during covid and they were exceptionally flexible and "can do" which we really appreciated. We had the most magical day. Everything ran so smoothly and the palace looked beautiful. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We had a wonderful couple who installed a clear span marquee in the Tudor Courtyard where they dined under the stars. The theming was based on Midsummer Night's dream with a woodland touch. They had huge banqueting tables which we served simultaneously and the couple were made to feel like royalty. They also had a unique photo-booth in the Great Hall for guests to enjoy along with a decadent croquembouche to savor.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't get stressed! The process is all part of the experience and the venue planner is there to support and guide you along the way.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We've seen lots of lovely touches but our favorite two were when guests were given individually hand written thank you cards; whilst another couple gifted their guests a bespoke fragrance for everyone.

hmmm, James' favorite is the Chicken saltimbocca with sage pesto

Bacon butties or pulled pork buns - they are always a winner after guests have been on the dancefloor

Our Tudor Courtyard is stunning to host your drinks reception! It is also now licensed for Civil ceremonies too!
