At Fitzleroi Barn, we’re a family-run wedding venue with over two decades of experience creating one-of-a-kind celebrations. Fitzleroi Barn isn’t a “wedding conveyor belt”; every couple has our full attention and plenty of time. At Fitzleroi, your wedding is truly yours. You’ll have exclusive use of the venue to make the space your own. Enjoy access from 10am – 6pm the day before to style and set up in a calm, unrushed environment. Whether you’re planning a weekend or a midweek celebration, we make sure the experience feels effortless from start to finish.
Surrounded by open fields and sweeping South Downs views, Fitzleroi Barn feels wonderfully rural - yet it’s just minutes from nearby towns, villages, and major routes. It’s the kind of place that feels tucked away, but easy for everyone to reach.
Ceremony Spaces
Choose the backdrop that suits your story:
The Long Room – light, airy, and ideal for intimate ceremonies of up to 70 guests.
The Main Barn– full of history and charm, with vaulted beams and space for up to 120 guests.
The Courtyard– an outdoor setting framed by climbing roses and grand barn doors, perfect for those seeking an outdoor ceremony.
The Meadow - A romantic ceremony on the lawn, overlooking the rolling South Downs.
Reception
After “I do”, enjoy drinks in the Courtyard, a relaxed, open-air space with tables, sofas, parasols, an outdoor bar, and endless photo spots.
For the wedding breakfast, the Main Barn transforms with your choice of layout from elegant round or long feasting tables. Utilise the courtyard for street food trucks or to enjoy alfresco dining, the choice is yours. In the evening, the space becomes a stunning setting for music and dancing under the fairy lights.

Fitzleroi barn has been in the family for over 80 years and I have fond memories of growing up with the cows wintering in the barn and mooching around in the courtyard. Since then we have moved to arable farming and the barn and courtyard have been sympathetically renovated into a stunning wedding venue. Which I have been running, since marrying my husband Mark here 22 years ago.

* No corkage fees - you're welcome to bring your own drinks to Fitzleroi Barn.
* No ceremony fees - we're a fully licensed venue and don't charge extra if you choose to have a ceremony here.

- TTilda16/09/20255 stars all round!5 stars all round!My wife and I had our wedding in August 2025 at Fitzleroi. We had ~110 guests for both ceremony and reception. Julia and Martina at Fitzleroi were helpful and responsive from the very first e-mail. We felt there was plenty of communication throughout the entire process, from enquiry to booking and planning to the actual day itself. We appreciated that we were able to visit Fitzleroi multiple times leading up to the day, whether that was for an official meeting or just to show one of our parents around. We also feel the price of hire, particularly for a Saturday wedding in summer, was incredibly competitive, and was made even more attractive when we realised how much flexibility we had with vendors and other bits and pieces compared to other venues we looked at. The venue itself is beautiful. We liked that it felt secluded and quiet. The barn was lovely with the exposed beams and fairy lights. We felt it required minimal extra decor because of how it looks on its own. The whole site was very clean and well taken care of. The flowers in the courtyard during summer were gorgeous too, and again saved us on having to put extra effort in with decorations! Some of our older guests commented on the plentiful seating, both in the barn and in the courtyard, which was much appreciated (particularly after the ceilidh!). Plus, the plentiful parking and the option to leave cars overnight was very helpful. Everyone was able to let loose and not worry about needing to drive back. Extra special thanks to Martina for being absolutely brilliant on the day of and the day before. She helped us time our successive aisle walks perfectly. The practice the day before really helped ease the minds of us and our bridal parties. She also answered all of my endless questions upon setting up and printed off signs for me that I had forgotten to do. On the day of, Lizzie and I barely saw her after the ceremony, but we were assured by our mums that she was working incredibly hard to make sure all was running smoothly. For example, updating our personalised cupcake signs when there was a mix up with icing colours and cake flavours. She quickly replicated the sign exactly, matched the flavours to the icing colours, and printed it off without us even noticing. We really appreciated this considering the number of dietary requirements we had! Finally, we praise both Julia and Martina for how warm and welcoming they were. Amazing Venue!I have worked at Fitzleroi Barn many times as part of my Acoustic Duo (@sophandsimon) performing live music for weddings and Fitzleori Barn is by far one of our favourites venues in West Sussex to work at! The team are so helpful and the running of the day is seamless. The team are always warm and welcoming and the barn itself is beautiful. All the weddings we have worked there have been perfectly executed with attention to detail. The courtyard is still being spoken about two weeks on, with its stunning floral decorations and scenic views in the summertime. The location is stunning, the barn picturesque and Julia and Louise just made us feel so welcome from day 1. There was nothing that was too much for them and they made planning the day so easy and stress free - all of their advice was invaluable and the day felt so seamless which was down to all their hard work! The day was absolutely perfect, we couldn't have asked for better. Throughout planning and the day itself the team were easy to get in touch with, always on hand to help and were so on the ball and organised it meant we could focus more on other things. Being able to set up the day before and pack up the day after too was a big plus! Julia was fantastic when we had to postpone twice due to Covid, and on the day when we wanted everything to be perfect. Great communication and friendly help and advice. Julia was very helpful and attentive on the build up and the venue itself offered ample space both inside and outside for our guests. The contractors they recommended were excellent, matching the fantastic service of those at Fitzleroi.Fitzleroi Barn is a fantastic setting for a wedding. We got married in July 2021 and I can honestly say that we had the time of our lives.
