- SSinead and chris rose05/12/2025We couldn't of done it without the fleece!We couldn't of done it without the fleece!I dont even no where to start... The fleece from start to finish 12 months may I add was amazing meetings phonecalls even video calls when we couldn't attened meetings because of our disbled child amazing but then the day well let me tell you every member of staff did the fleece proud from helping my partner chris to helping me surprise him with a voice message from our non verbal child, my husband had no clue at all! Staff was smiley chatting away the food was amazing (beef dinner) had so many compliments, nothing we asked was to much even down to having dry lips from all the nerves someone handed us lip balm!!, the night do well hats off to our dj! He was the best around and listened to everyone asking for songs for hours got involved in the party!, staff on the evening was amazing with our daughters, when it came to the clean up the staff helped massively and they didnt have to! Honestly we had the best day I want to thank carrie ann personally because honestly you made pur day happen from start to finish and your work doesn't go unnoticed thank you to everyone that was involved xx I dont even no where to start... The day ran so smoothly without a hitch, and everyone was so lovely. Nothing went wrong at all. Everything was amazing! Special thanks to Beccy and Lucy, who were with us through the day and managed the chaos that was our wedding!! Also managed to make sure we didn't spot each other before walking down the aisle. The food was amazing as usual and all the guests werd raving about it. I cant thank you all enough for such an amazing day!! XxWe held our wedding at The Fleece Countryside Inn on 21/03/2025. Carrie-Anne was so helpful in the entire planning process and the new portal was incredibly informative in helping us along the way. Our wedding day itself was everything we could have dreamed of and more! The team were exceptionally organised and welcoming, no task was too much of an ask for them. The food was outstanding, the views were beautiful, and the rooms were lovely too. Incredible service, amazing food, perfectly picturesque and they made our big day a seamless exercise. Incidentally, every single time we went for a meeting we’d go early so we had an excuse to get dinner there too. Worth the trip for the food alone, and such good value for the quality. I don’t think our wedding is the last time we’ll be heading there! We had a wonderful wedding at The Fleece Inn. The staff were so professional and worked like a well-oiled machine. The team on the day were amazing, they made us feel at ease and were always around to assist. The food was incredible- we have had so many compliments since the wedding. Just the perfect location for a cosy, relaxed wedding, if you’re thinking of having a wedding here go and have a look, the views alone will have you sold even before you meet the amazing team. All the staff looked after us throughout the whole day and it went so smoothly. The food was amazing and leading up to the big day Carrie-Anne and her team answered every question we had putting us at ease. We were so happy we chose The Fleece and really was the perfect day! Carrie-Ann put us both at ease & no query was too ‘silly’. We both love music so wanted a festival theme & they were so accommodating to our ideas. There are so many different stunning areas to get good photographs throughout the pub, the scenery is gorgeous. We got married in May & were very lucky with the weather, the sunset looked stunning. Our guests complimented the canapés & wedding breakfast & I can agree the food was delicious. I 1000% recommend & love going for meals there at the pub. I found The Fleece Countryside Inn on here & after visiting we both fell in love with it. Carrie-Ann put us both at ease & no query was too ‘silly’. We have had the privilege to host the most amazing and kind couples but the one's that stick out the most are weddings with games! Such as cocktail hour competitions, or bonkers bingo! Always great entertainment for the guests and Fleece staff alike!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Get a wedding planner book! There are some amazing ones on the market with tips, timelines and every list you could possibly need! They are ideal for the less organised couple to help make the process easier, plus oh so satisfying for the highly organised couples that love a good expense sheet!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We absolutely loved Summer and Ashley's Table names, they were places they had been together displayed with a picture of them in location! Then people had to find their seat by looking at a map of the world!
