Our couples enjoy exclusive venue hire including The Wellington Suite, with a fully stocked bar, this has doors that open out onto a gorgeous courtyard, as well as our Reception Room which is the perfect space for post-ceremony drinks. Should you be planning an outdoor summer ceremony in our flower courtyard or a cosy winter wedding with open fires and fairy lights, we offer the perfect venue for any season!
At Berts your wedding will be the only wedding of the day with the most intimate being 15 guests going up to 100 guests. Our award winning venue that has been family run for over 70 years delivers excellent service, award winning quality food, attention to detail, in a intimate, relaxed setting. With this, the most lovliest staff, and being the best value for money, makes this venue the best in our eyes. Absolutely 1st class service. We can't thank Lydia and the team anymore, our day was perfect, with many wonderful memories made. Lydia is worth her weight in gold! Communication was amazing, the day ran smoothly (comments from guests said they had never been to a more perfectly run wedding), nothing was too much trouble, and the food was impeccable! With this, the most lovliest staff, and being the best value for money, makes this venue the best in our eyes. Absolutely 1st class service. Lydia walked us through every step of the planning to provide us advice and guidance and hints and tips. WI am a control freak, but nothing was too much I was in regular contact with Lydia via email and had several face to face meetings to make sure I had everything covered. On the day just knowing Lydia was there with us I could relax everyone was whereOur day was absolutely perfect. From planning to the day itself we were supported entirely. From the moment we met Lydia we knew that this was the place to celebrate our special day. Explaining everything to us down to the minutest detail for the day. Being there on the phone or email every time we had questions to ask. On the day we were treated like a king and queen and guests were made so welcome. The staff , who smiled all day , were amazing. Planning the wedding was a lovely and chilled process, Lydia was such a joy to meet. She put us so at ease and the attention to detail for our big day was phenomenal. We went away from every meeting leading up to the wedding feeling confident and excited. We got married here on the 25th of May 2025 and we are so excited to be able to look back at our wedding day and say it was absolutely perfect, and this definitely wouldn’t be the case without the amazing staff who made it possible.
