Earls Hall itself is a stunning location where the actual owner of the property clearly takes great care of their home and the property surrounding it. It gives a very luxurious feel. Unfortunately, the experience provided by the actual venue operators is not one of luxury. I think if you want to have a more simplified wedding without extra elements, this wedding venue is totally suitable. Attention to detail and basic event professionalism was missing. The marquee structure is not kept in good shape, there were no hand towels in the bathrooms (this they blamed on suppliers being onsite the day before), beverages were not served cold. When asked about the number of issues, all blame was shifted despite everything being something that could have been anticipated and remediated in the week prior. The walkway from the venue to the transportation pickup was long and pitch black through grassy and tree root covered areas. When we raised concern about this being the case earlier in the day, we were told they lost the lighting that would pave the way. There are more pitfalls to be wary of, but I recommend any couple who decides to go with Earls Hall and Seven Events to be on top of the team at each stage. We tried to do this and were yessed to death that everything would be in top shape and service would not be an issue. In hindsight, I would have been much more diligent and wary of the costs I was paying for what I was getting. The surrounding venue itself is worth the fee charged, but the extra 7K that is charged in staffing is hard to justify. Out of this world service When we selected Scott, we didn’t realise what a special part of our day he would become. Knowing we had a lot of friends with BIG appetites coming, we decided to go a little bit out there and forego the traditional 3 courses and go for Scott’s street food option… it was the best decision we made! People still tell us it’s the best food they’ve ever had at the wedding and it became a talking point at the tables of which country they would visit first! Scott's Catering delivered a genuinely delicious meal for our wedding to 120 guests. There were loads of great options for veggies and vegans. We were treated to a great tasting a couple of months before which made us really excited for the day itself. The staff laid out beautiful tables and all the accoutrements to make our marquee really come alive. Scott's also has a warehouse full of fun wedding furniture from barrels to post boxes for cards to quirky drinks bars to a sword! Cutting the cake with a proper Scottish claymore was a lot of fun. Scott's Catering delivered a genuinely delicious meal for our wedding to 120 guests. There were loads of great options for veggies and vegans. Earlshall castle is a stunning venue where I had my wedding so picturesque plenty of space and views stunning. Scots catering services was brilliant food was fantastic and all the help with set up was amazing. Staff all friendly and very helpful. Earls Hall is the most perfect wedding venue and the team at Earls Hall were amazing to work with. We knew as soon as we stepped into the grounds of Earls Hall that we had found the venue for our wedding, the surroundings are unbelievably beautiful and it's so well set up for every part of the wedding day. What makes Earls Hall even more special is that it's so private and you can almost guarantee the majority of your guests won't have seen it before, so they will all experience the surprise of how amazing it is too. The marquee where the reception takes place is so well set up and laid out, it's the most spacious and comfortable marquee I've ever been in and it's so nicely decorated. It was a real selling point for us when we chose the venue knowing we loved it as it is, before we even had to start spending money on extra decorations. Scott and his team at Earls Hall are fantastic. They're all so friendly and fun to work with and Scott has so much experience and has run so many weddings so he is able to give a helping hand whenever you need extra ideas or are just not sure how a part of the day will/should run. The food and drink all day was great and there's so much to choose from when selecting the menu. I can't imagine what our wedding would have been like if we chose a different venue, it was the best decision we've ever made and all of our guests are still talking about how amazing the venue and the day was. I could go on and on as I honestly can't recommend Earls Hall enough! Thank you for being the best wedding venue EVER and for giving us the most amazing wedding day.
