We spoke with Hayley Ockerby and Barbara who was so helpful and friendly. Even when the government changed the rules to 15 people, other hotels were not prepared to do the function but Doubletree stepped up and agreed to help us make our wedding as special as they could. They went above and beyond our expectations they were so attentive. We were not under pressure for deposits etc and all as sorted out within 2 weeks. I stayed the night before in the Auburn Suite and our wedding night which was stunning. I had a few obstacles on my wedding morning which they helped with and a beautiful arrangement of flowers were delivered from them. It was lovely when I left the hotel that staff were stood in the reception to clap and see me off. Arriving back we had the use of the Skylounge for photographs and Steve and Amy who looked after our wedding reception were just amazing and their interaction with us was just lovely and the other staff. It was perfect. We would like to thank the chefs as the food was fantastic and all our guests were very happy. Throughout our experience we had first class service and nothing was too much Diego on reception was lovely and helped to unload and load our vehicles even ran after us after nearly forgetting our wedding cake lol. Thank you to all the staff who assisted us to make our day a great success in these troubled times to have a day of joy and happiness. We truly are grateful to meet such lovely people who showed excitement for us and worked long hours that day to ensure all went smoothly.
