Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club is situated minutes from the motorway network and seven miles from the heart of Manchester city centre. This We can accommodate every kind of wedding from civil ceremonies and partnerships, vow renewals, and small intimate occasions to large extravagant receptions for family and friends. The Worsley Suite can accommodate up to 200 for a wedding breakfast, 220 for an evening reception and is licensed for civil ceremonies. The suite also opens out onto our lovely courtyard which is perfect for reception drinks and mingling "al fresco" with your guests throughout the day. With plenty of outdoor space and plenty of locations for the perfect back drop to what will be a perfect day.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We have had a few Muslim weddings at our venue and I always find these very interesting as they are always so colourful and have many wonderful traditions. The Groom will enter typically with drums through the hotel, the bride is dressed in a beautiful red gown. The venue is dressed so beautifully with huge staging and seating at the top of the room just for the Bride and Groom and a long walkway.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try not to overthink the small things, your wedding guests will mainly remember the atmosphere, food, entertainment and of course the brides dress and how happy the couple are.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Bride and Groom used a photo of themselves at the age which corresponded with the table number, so number one was them both aged one. I thought this was such a sweet idea and lovely and personal.

Idyllic, Picturesque, Elegant, Unique, Attentive
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Top of the 1st tee at sunset, gives a really lovely silhouette photo.
The hidden stairs in the gardens behind our cobbled bedrooms.
Front of the hotel for the main group and confetti photo in-front of our iconic Worsley park sign in the grass.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We had a lovely wedding for a couple who were choreographers, and the maid of honour was Katya Jones from strictly come dancing. Herself, the Groom and lots of other members of strictly decorated our Worsley Suite for the wedding very early in the morning before the Church ceremony.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Maple Glazed Chipolatas are my favourite, they are so simple but so tasty and are definitely a very popular choice with our couples.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
I have two favourites - our delicious Burger bar from our wish list which is a selection of burgers to suit all your guests tastes. Or our new special pizza oven which makes the tastiest pizzas!!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our lovely, relaxing courtyard is our most unique feature. It’s a perfect location for Wedding guests to relax with a drink and canapés before and after the wedding meal. The atmosphere is very relaxed as it’s located in the centre of our hotel just off our main bar and the main function suite.
