- AApril & Fred28/10/2025Beautiful venue Beautiful venueWe had an amazing wedding day at Clayfield Farm. The venue is beautiful and it was the perfect size for us. We had 85 day guests but could have up to 100 for the day and evening. It would also suit people who want something significantly smaller. The venue supplied their own coordinator who we had one video call with prior to the day unless you request more, then she was available on the day. This was helpful and I was glad I didn't have to sort this myself. The accommodation was lovely, however there were a few hiccups. I think these are just teething issues with the venue being pretty new. The Bridal suite has two bedrooms but they had only sorted one of the bedrooms and said they were going to lock the door of the second, this didn't work for us as we have a child (plus we paid for the whole accommodation) but they quickly rectified this. They also have a farmhouse and 4 shepherds huts which are lovely. The other hiccup there was that the shared kitchen for the shepherd's hut wasn't ready and the fridge was full of gone off food, so was unusable. Any issues we had, we brought up with the owners and they did try to rectify them, it was never anything too big to be a massive issue though. Overall we had the most amazing day. The ceremony barn was gorgeous and it was a privilege to be the second couple to be married in there. I would definitely recommend this venue as it is beautiful and we had the best day.
