Facilities & Capacity
At the heart of Clayfield Farm is Dove Barn, a beautifully restored ceremony space full of character, natural light, and rustic charm. Seating up to 90 guests, it creates an intimate atmosphere where you can exchange vows surrounded by the people who matter most.
After your ceremony, continue the celebrations in the oak-framed Venue Room, where vaulted ceilings, soft lighting, and large bi-fold doors create a bright and inviting space for dining, speeches, and dancing late into the evening. The adjoining patio and gardens offer the perfect setting for drinks receptions, golden hour photographs, and relaxed moments with family and friends.

Accommodation
One of the most special parts of a wedding at Clayfield Farm is turning your day into an entire weekend of memories. All on-site accommodation is included within your wedding package, meaning your closest family and friends can stay together and celebrate from start to finish.
The Farmhouse, The Granary Honeymoon Suite, Martin Cottage, Hazel Cottage, and the Shepherd’s Huts sleep up to 30 guests in total, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere where nobody has to rush away at the end of the evening.
Wake up the next morning, with your family nearby to relive the best moments over coffee and breakfast, and enjoy every second of your celebration for just a little longer.

We had 85 day guests but could have up to 100 for the day and evening. It would also suit people who want something significantly smaller. The venue supplied their own coordinator who we had one video call with prior to the day unless you request more, then she was available on the day. This was helpful and I was glad I didn't have to sort this myself. The accommodation was lovely, however there were a few hiccups. I think these are just teething issues with the venue being pretty new. The Bridal suite has two bedrooms but they had only sorted one of the bedrooms and said they were going to lock the door of the second, this didn't work for us as we have a child (plus we paid for the whole accommodation) but they quickly rectified this. They also have a farmhouse and 4 shepherds huts which are lovely. The other hiccup there was that the shared kitchen for the shepherd's hut wasn't ready and the fridge was full of gone off food, so was unusable. Any issues we had, we brought up with the owners and they did try to rectify them, it was never anything too big to be a massive issue though. Overall we had the most amazing day. The ceremony barn was gorgeous and it was a privilege to be the second couple to be married in there. I would definitely recommend this venue as it is beautiful and we had the best day. Absolutely! While we have a list of recommended suppliers, you are welcome to use your own.
We do recommended several caterers who have worked at the venue before, if you would like to use another caterer, please understand that they will need to have a site visit prior to your wedding.
