Key Features of Clayfield Farm
- Capacity: The Ceremony Space in Dove Barn seats up to 90 guests. The Function Space in the The oak framed venue room is for up to 90 day guests.
- Accommodation: Included in your wedding package is The Farmhouse and Rose Cottage, the Honeymoon Suite. Further accommodation can be booked for 16 guests in Martin and Hazel Cottage, and our Shepherd Huts.
- Caterers: We work with recommended suppliers tailored to suit your style and budget. Please let us know your preferences, and we’ll be happy to put you in touch with them.
- Setting: This stone-built barn perfectly balances rustic charm with modern touches, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We had 85 day guests but could have up to 100 for the day and evening. It would also suit people who want something significantly smaller. The venue supplied their own coordinator who we had one video call with prior to the day unless you request more, then she was available on the day. This was helpful and I was glad I didn't have to sort this myself. The accommodation was lovely, however there were a few hiccups. I think these are just teething issues with the venue being pretty new. The Bridal suite has two bedrooms but they had only sorted one of the bedrooms and said they were going to lock the door of the second, this didn't work for us as we have a child (plus we paid for the whole accommodation) but they quickly rectified this. They also have a farmhouse and 4 shepherds huts which are lovely. The other hiccup there was that the shared kitchen for the shepherd's hut wasn't ready and the fridge was full of gone off food, so was unusable. Any issues we had, we brought up with the owners and they did try to rectify them, it was never anything too big to be a massive issue though. Overall we had the most amazing day. The ceremony barn was gorgeous and it was a privilege to be the second couple to be married in there. I would definitely recommend this venue as it is beautiful and we had the best day.
