The mansion house, nestled on the borders of East Sussex and Kent dates back to 1617. Our venue is ideal if you are looking for a unique countryside wedding set in beautiful gardens. Firstly, because of the wonderful charm of the house and gardens and the versatility it gave us for unreliable weather. Most importantly, because of the kindness and care we received from the venue coordinators. From the moment we walked in, and was greeted by Astrid, we loved everything about this place. The attention and detail that was put into our day really made us feel so valued. Our wedding day was everything and more we could of asked for, and we thank Louisa, Hannah and Astrid for this, from the bottom of our hearts!We chose Brickwall House for our wedding venue for many reasons. Firstly, because of the wonderful charm of the house and gardens and the versatility it gave us for unreliable weather. So thank you for answering what felt like a hundred and one last minute emails and guiding me through the morning so calmly and with a smile always on your face. The venue boasts a number of idyllic, cosy and scenic corners that are truly relaxing and make for a great memory, being a wedding photographer I feel truly blessed to have worked at the venue and more recently becoming one of the recommended suppliers. I can’t recommend the venue enough and I look forward to working at the stunning Brickwall House in future!Brickwall House has undoubtedly a warm welcome and oozes charm and history, while attentive staff equally look after their wedding clients and suppliers accordingly. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are so many! Wandering around our Topiary chess garden or under a canopy of trees in our arboretum, under the passion flower arch, in the stunning drawing room, down the 20 meter flower aisle, infront of the historic old stables and clocktower, under the 400 year old magnolia tree in our courtyard or kissing on the historic staircase.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes, but sshhh... we are discreet and will keep this as a secret. You would want us to do the same!
