Description

Perfect for a woodland or festival themed wedding or event, Bower in the Wood allows you the freedom to design your special event exactly to your wishes, all whilst surrounded by the beauty and simplicity of nature. Choose from two very different licensed locations for your ceremony. A short woodland stroll takes you to our beautiful wooden Bower, or the Great Hall with its domed wooden ceiling can be the setting for your ceremony. There are numerous beautiful spots to choose from for celebrant led ceremonies. Alternatively, If you are planning a church wedding, the venue can be hired purely for your reception party.The Grand Hall can seat up to120 for your wedding feast, or alternatively you can make use of the relaxed and more informal woodland seating. Three unique bespoke, handmade woodland tables wrap around the up-lit trees, seating up to 80 guests, and add a relaxed informal vibe to your day. Decorated tables can be added to the outside area if you have more guests.

A fully stocked in-house bar accepting cash and card payments. Wedding co-ordinator and two wait staff available all day.

We can't thank the team at Bower in the wood enough. We were unable to have the wedding outside as planned because of heavy rain. Despite this the team went out of their way to make the day special. Big shout out to the two young ladies who got soaked trying to rearrange the event. Everyone worked so hard to make a day for myself and wife to remember. We would 100% recommend having their wedding here. Professional, friendly and simply amazing location and staff! 10/10We can't thank the team at Bower in the wood enough. This venue impressed me with it's rustic feel, and had vibes of something out of a fairy tale. The staff were absolutely amazing, accomodating & friendly. I didn't get the name of them all, but Lottie was absolutely amazing, made me feel really welcome & her cocktails were state of the art exquisite ! :), and has the most intriguing personality.This venue impressed me with it's rustic feel, and had vibes of something out of a fairy tale. We got married here on the 20.06.25. From the very start of choosing the venue right down to the day, Lottie and the team were absolutely incredible. Nothing was ever to big of an ask and they made the whole planning as stress free as possible. Communication is fantastic and Lottie is always on hand should you need to discuss anything. We knew from the first moment we spoke with them and saw the venue that we had to have our wedding at Bower in the Woods! Carrie & Frankie are so easy to talk to, it feels as though we have known them for years! They went above and beyond in every aspect and we will be sure to use them for future events!
