Your wedding, unique and unforgettable

At Bignor Park, we believe that your wedding should be all about you as a couple and your dreams for a perfect day. So, we provide the stunning setting and inspirational ideas, and your imagination will decide the rest, ensuring that your dream wedding will be unique and unforgettable. We will be there to help you every step of the way to create the best day of your lives in our beautiful, family-run venue. We also believe that you should have the time and space to enjoy it all, so all our weddings have access two days prior to your day to allow you plenty of time to set up and no other wedding bookings for at least three days before and afterwards, . Our wedding bookings are limited to twelve couples per year.

Ceremonies and Receptions

Our Civil Ceremonies licence is outside at the Greek Loggia, part of eleven acres of beautiful grounds incorporating formal gardens, sweeping lawns, the temple and zen pond. Receptions in the classic Stables include the Courtyard and Quadrangle, or a marquee or tipi tent reception on the Croquet Lawn with its panoramic views. Bignor Park offers a magical setting for your perfect day - we look forward to welcoming you.

Practical points

You are free to supply your own drinks with no corkage charge.

Choose from a specially curated list of external caterers.

One hundred wooden, folding chairs and a variety of tables included in the hire fee, fire pits allowed in the courtyard and open quadrangle. Quiet, private, lockable day room included for the couple.

Access two days before for set-up, family and friends welcome to be involved!

Magical day despite the rain!Magical day despite the rain!
When we viewed Bignor park back in 2023 for our wedding, we absolutely fell in love with it and took a chance and kept our fingers crossed for good weather. Flash forward to 3 years later and it rained ALL DAY! Our original idea on the wedding breakfast dining outside could no longer go ahead as planned but that didn’t stop the wedding still being amazing with the best atmosphere. Louise the wedding coordinator really helped come up with all wet weather alternative options for our big day and the guests have since been so complimentary of the day and the venue itself. It is practically dry hire so bare this in mind when booking as there will be a lot of planning going into it but for us is was 100% worth it. We had the best day and so much of the credit goes to Louise! It really is the most stunning venue and gives the best of both worlds in feeling classic, elegant but not overly formal! We came across Bignor Park and, from the moment Louise showed us around the venue, we fell completely in love with it. It's set in a truly beautiful part of West Sussex — the kind of place you'd never stumble across unless you had a reason to go there. What we loved most was that there are three distinct areas within the grounds to choose from, which meant we could make the day genuinely bespoke to us. We opted for a marquee on the Croquet Lawn, which beautifully accommodated our large group of 115 guests. Organising a wedding on grounds where you're coordinating multiple vendors yourself can sound daunting, but Louise made it so much less so. She met with us regularly throughout the planning process and helped us every step of the way, recommending vendors for absolutely everything — from toilet providers and marquee suppliers to catering, entertainment, and even singing waiters. We got married on the 1st of August, and it was a beautiful, sunny day. Everything ran like clockwork. I've always thought the best sign of a great event coordinator is that you barely notice them — things just happen organically, exactly when they need to. Louise was there in the background from early morning right through until 6pm, quietly making sure everything stayed on track. She went above and beyond, and in the days leading up to the wedding she helped us think of details we might otherwise have missed, which put us completely at ease. We got married at Bignor Park in June 2026 and honestly couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. The venue itself is stunning - the gardens, the views over the South Downs, and the quadrangle for dinner give it a magic that's hard to put into words. It's also a beautiful blank canvas - you bring in your own suppliers and shape the day around your own style, which was a big part of why we fell in love with it. The real magic though is Louise. She was absolutely exceptional from start to finish - endlessly patient with our random questions (including "how do I build a crisp wall?"), calm and reassuring throughout the planning, and her recommendations and advice were spot on every time. On the day itself she coordinated everything so seamlessly that we didn't have to think about a single thing. She made the whole process feel calm and manageable, and we genuinely don't know what we would have done without her. The recommended suppliers are the top of their game and leaders in their respective fields, which allows the wedding day to feel premium quality and runs smoothly. Having access to the venue 2 days prior to the day allows more than enough time to get set up and prepare. Once the day arrived, we had nothing to worry about as we could trust Louise at Bignor and the associated suppliers implicitly that they would take the reins and make the day a success. The grounds and gardens are spectacular in spring and it is clear it is looked after with such love and care. Our guests could not stop telling us that it was the BEST wedding venue they had ever been to. Bignor Park is a particularly special place to get married. There really is nowhere like it. Once you turn into the sweeping drive, you feel like you are entering a secret, magical estate. What we loved was being able to hold our ceremony outside in the loggia, surrounded by the beautiful gardens, with the birds singing and the sun shining. Then drinks on the lawn in front of the stunning house with its amazing vistas. There is so much space at Bignor Park and everywhere you look there is beauty to behold.Bignor Park is a particularly special place to get married. There really is nowhere like it. Dream Wedding Venue!Dream Wedding Venue!
We celebrated our wedding on a very rainy day at the end of summer at the beautiful Bignor Park. The rain just became a part of the story, and we still had the most fantastic outdoor ceremony at the Greek Loggia, group photos on the South Lawn, and then the drinks reception under the ceremony tent because of the wet weather. Although we had hoped to have the drinks reception at the South Lawn, it actually felt really intimate having it back in the ceremony space. Dining under the stretch canopy at the Quadrangle was really magical. With the sheltered al fresco setting and the beautiful manor house as the backdrop, it truly felt like a destination wedding in the heart of the South Downs. The flow of the rooms at the Stables works really well, and we loved that there were lots of breakout spaces. We had three babies at the wedding, and the Tack Room was a great private space for the families. I could go on and on, but for now, I will sign off and say a huge heartfelt thank you to Louise and the team at Bignor Park for the most incredible wedding day. What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

It's all in the planning! I have event managed over 100 weddings at Bignor Park so really know my way around and am here to help every step of the way. Wet weather contingencies are a must. Surround yourselves with the fewest possible number of suppliers for the sake of your wedmin inbox. Book with people who really 'get' you as a couple and what you really want for your wedding.

There are so many amazing places for photos in the grounds and gardens, but probably the most stylish is the backdrop of the Georgian house - it has a Mediterranean / Tuscan feel. Wedding photographers are absolutely spoilt for choice!

Yes, several, but we are the soul of discretion and could not possibly tell you who!
