Gather your tribe for a festival wedding vibe and elevate your big day into a big weekend with all your family and friends staying with you at Big Sky Tipis.
Your friends and family have travelled far and wide to be with you for your big day so you'll want to spend as much time as possible with them, right?
Having your wedding with us here at Big Sky Tipis allows you to enjoy time with the ones you love over a whole weekend rather than just the one day. Your guests can be accommodated exclusively in our eight furnished Sioux Indian Tipis and two bell tents (together accommodating up to 52 people) and additional camping for two nights, you can create your festival vibe over a full 48 hours. So you can enjoy the day before the wedding to to personalise, prepare and decorate and enjoy the day after, relaxing and reminiscing about the day & night before over a leisurely brunch.
We are licensed wedding venue with a dedicated Oak framed pagoda for outdoor ceremonies but Wartling village does have a lovely Church half a mile from the site for those that would like a more traditional wedding service. Attached to the site we have an area of ancient woodland available for celebrant ceremonies for those seeking a truly rustic ceremony. Our wedding season runs from mid June to mid September but the glamping season runs a little longer - April to the end of September.
Our festival package includes two large tipi marquees (with electrical power, matting and lighting) that can seat up to 120 and offers you a communal space to host your pow-wow and entertain your guests.
As an optional extra we have a five bedroomed Grade II listed property and/or a one bedroomed annex available for additional accommodation for your guests or as a honeymoon suit /changing room for the bride and groom

Cooking bits were provided so it was great for families without all the kit. Tipis were very spacious and the communal picnic area was a nice social space. Toilets/ showers all clean & well stocked. Toasting marshmallows on the campfire was definitely the highlight for our children, and I recommend ordering the sausages for breakfast! As the sun went down we could climb into our warm, cosy tipis. The facilities were clean, with hot, powerful showers. And were constantly stocked with loo roll, soap and hand towels - quite the feat with 24 ladies! On our last day Sarah and Geoff gave us all bacon and sausage baps with fresh coffee and big pots of tea. It was perfect.
