Big Chill started as a boutique festival, bringing the music, the people and the good times together. Way back in 2004 the party was moved indoors; Big Chill Bar was born and the party lives on.
We are a unique venue, a whole house split across three floors with an amazing south-facing roof terrace. A number one party space in the heart of King's Cross, just a 2-minute walk from the station. Each floor with a dedicated bar and fun atmosphere. A large dance floor on the ground floor with Live Music on Thursdays and a great selection of DJs for nightlong parties, open until 3am on Fridays & Saturdays.
At Big Chill we've got spaces suited for any size and occasion plus we LOVE throwing parties, so your event is safe in our hands. From an after-work drink, a milestone celebration, a Bottomless Brunch to a full venue hire, we've got you covered

All the staff were so helpful and professional, and Adelaide who helped organised everything was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, a fantastic venue to work with and the whole company absolutely loved the party. The private space, including the rooftop area and the indoor venue with a private bar, was exceptional. Adelaide, Krishan, and the team managed everything professionally from start to finish. Our staff had an unbelievable time and thoroughly enjoyed the event. The food was out of this world and absolutely delicious. We have no doubt we will be back again to party the night away and create some more memoriesWe recently hosted our staff summer party here for the second time, and it was fantastic. Including the booking agent Adelaide who made everything so easy! (such a kind woman!) The night itself was wonderful! The venue space was perfect and well decorated. The Staff were so attentive and their kind attitudes made it such a welcoming environment ! The food was fantastic and came out really hot even at the amounts we ordered. 10/10 for a workplace event and we will 100% be coming back!We had our Christmas party here and I can not recommend Big Chill enough! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
One of the best weddings we’ve hosted was an all-out, old-school party. The couple wanted a laid-back celebration with zero fuss and maximum fun – and that’s exactly what they got! Everyone was in great spirits, the dance floor was packed all night, and the crowd kept boogying right through till 3am. It was the kind of night where shoes came off, singalongs broke out, and no one wanted it to end. Just pure, feel-good energy from start to finish.

We’re most proud of our passion for music and creating unforgettable parties. The founder, who’s also behind the music festival, is still deeply involved and knows everyone by name. We’re a small, close-knit team, and our business thrives on word-of-mouth and recommendations. It’s this personal touch and love for what we do that really sets us apart.
