Alfi isn’t your typical wedding venue; and that’s exactly the point. Tucked away just a short stroll from Liverpool Street, we’re a modern Italian restaurant and wine bar with heart. Whether it’s an intimate dinner or a full venue takeover, we’re all about good food, great wine, and creating a space where everyone feels genuinely looked after.
We’ve hosted everything from candlelit receptions to full-blown parties with DJs, dancing and late-night espresso martinis. Our spaces are flexible and full of personality; cosy enough for smaller gatherings or spacious enough to host up to 280 guests across our indoor and outdoor areas.
At the core of Alfi is a team who just loves making people happy. We’re not about fuss, we’re about getting things right. That means thoughtful, modern Italian food (yes, the classics too; pizza, pasta, grilled mains, small plates), a wine list we’re proud of, and menus that can be tailored for any dietary needs.
Whether you want to keep things laid-back or go all out with bespoke cocktails, décor, and a full dance floor setup, we’ve got you. We’ll take care of the planning without making it feel like a checklist, so you can actually enjoy it.
This is the kind of place where guests leave saying, “It felt like our kind of day, not someone else’s plan.” And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Honestly, the best weddings here are the ones where couples really put their own spin on things. One that always makes me smile was when a couple swapped the champagne tower for a tiramisu tower, no traditional cake, just coupes of tiramisu handed around the room. It was fun, a little cheeky, and totally them. That’s us at Alfi, you simply tell us what you want, and we’ll make it happen.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Our number one tip? Don’t forget to actually enjoy your own day. It’s easy to get caught up making sure everyone else is happy, but carve out a few quiet moments together – just the two of you – to take it all in. Those are the memories that stick.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A groom arranged for a secret late-night gelato cart to roll onto the terrace – guests were queuing like kids at a fair.
