The venue is located on Lawrence Avenue West, less than half an hour from Toronto CBD. It is spread over four acres of stunning Mediterranean gardens with water fountains, gazebos and lush greenery, which provide plenty of ceremony and photo session backgrounds. 

Reception spaces and capacities:

• J.D. Carrier Art Gallery: maximum 150 guests
• Columbus Room: 70 standing, 40 seated guests
• Boardroom: maximum 22 guests, better suited for business occasions, but can be booked for private dinners

Columbus Event Space is wheelchair accessible, has an audio-visual system and free parking for guests.

Catering at Columbus Event Centre

Columbus Event Centre partners with personal chef and catering company Luciano Schipano Inc. for food. This caterer specializes in authentic Italian cuisine and has unique food selections, a creative approach and diverse menu options.

Menus are customizable and the caterer can create a bespoke menu for your occasion.

For example, if you prefer a family-style menu with shared platters and food stations, expect:

• Gourmet pizza station
• Oyster bar
• Antipasto board
• Italian staples: Spaghetti aglio e olio, penne with mushrooms, fusilli with tomato sauces, orecchiette with rapini 

For standing events, Luciano Schipano sets a cocktail-style station with flavorful bite-sized food. You can also request a formal, multiple-course wedding menu or a buffet. 

The caterer can include desserts, or you can have your wedding cake from a third-party vendor served as dessert.
