Guests arrive into a striking 7,000 sq ft foyer of gleaming marble, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, four exclusive bars, and a grand staircase that doubles as a stunning photo backdrop. Retractable walls divide the venue into three distinct, combinable ballrooms — ideal for an intimate gathering of 50 or a grand celebration of up to 800 seated (1,000 reception-style). The Venetian Ballroom opens onto a private landscaped terrace, perfect for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hours, or alfresco dining under the evening lights.

Your in-house wedding coordinator guides you from first tour to final dance, while cuisine is crafted by Executive Chef Beth Ross and Carmen's celebrated culinary kitchen. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles and friendly staff. The venue was beautiful and clean. The bathrooms are a great spot for those selfies with your girlfriends. She was running off her feet with the wedding but always smiled and provided exceptional care and attention to the guests. Nothing but positive things to say about my experience:)I attended a wedding at Carmen's recently and I was so blown away by the professionalism of all the staff. I have been to Carmen's for weddings and always had a phenomenal experience; but meeting Hector was the finalizing factor we never knew we needed. Hector presented the beautiful location and different packages with professionalism and poise in such an organized and non-pressured way. He allowed us to see the different rooms, go over numbers and of course our very special date. From the moment we stepped into Carmen's, I had a feeling we were making the right choice for our upcoming wedding. I was a bit stressed as the setup was different than last year and I had put in a lot of work beforehand to make everything right. Arcel really helped me out; showing me everything that I needed to know about their setup and even make sure that I was fed throughout the event when no one else noticed. While the food, venue, and staff all did amazing job, it was the hospitality that really made my night. I just finished working an event here as a media tech. We planned everything with Andi, and met with Dominica to plan logistics, and they were both wonderful! The day-of staff were on top of everything and worked hard to accommodate our needs and make us feel comfortable. 1. How many guests can Carmen's accommodate?
Our three combinable ballrooms flex from intimate celebrations of 50 guests up to 800 seated, or 1,000 reception-style. Retractable walls let us tailor the space to your exact guest count so the room always feels just right.
2. What's included in your all-inclusive wedding packages?
Our packages are designed so you can plan everything in one place. Depending on the package, they include a multi-course dinner, cocktail reception, full bar service, wedding cake, a late-night buffet, full décor (linens, centrepieces, chairs and table settings), a dedicated wedding coordinator, and a honeymoon suite at the C Hotel next door.
3. Can we hold both our ceremony and reception at Carmen's?
Yes. You can host your ceremony on our private terrace or in one of our ballrooms, enjoy cocktails in the marble foyer, and move seamlessly into your reception — all on one property, with no travel between venues.
4. Do you provide in-house catering, and can you handle dietary requirements?
All catering is prepared in-house by our culinary team, led by Executive Chef Beth Ross. We offer halal menus and can accommodate a wide range of dietary needs and cultural preferences — just let your coordinator know when planning your menu.
5. Is there accommodation for our guests?
Yes. The boutique C Hotel by Carmen's is located directly next door, ideal for out-of-town guests, and a honeymoon suite is included in our all-inclusive packages so you can stay just steps from your celebration.
6. Do you have a wedding coordinator, or do we plan everything ourselves?
Every couple works with an experienced in-house wedding coordinator from your first tour through to the wedding day itself. They help refine your vision, manage the details, and make sure everything runs smoothly so you can simply enjoy the day.
7. How far is Carmen's from Toronto and Niagara?
We're on Hamilton Mountain, just 45 minutes from both downtown Toronto and the Niagara Region, with easy access from Highway 403 and the Lincoln Alexander Parkway and complimentary on-site parking.
8. Can we choose our own décor, or is it provided?
Décor is included in our packages and selected in our on-site décor showroom, where you'll work with our team to choose linens, centrepieces, chairs and table settings to match your theme. You're welcome to personalise and upgrade to bring your own vision to life.
9. Do you accommodate cultural and religious weddings?
Absolutely. We regularly host celebrations from many cultural and religious traditions, offer halal menus, and can accommodate specific requirements such as ladies-only celebrations. Share your traditions with us and we'll help plan a day that honours them.
