Only an hour from Melbourne's crowded streets, at the entryway of the stunning, same-named valley, lies Yarra Valley Lodge, a romantic wedding venue with comprehensive services, including catering, spa and accommodation.
Your Special Day at Yarra Valley Lodge: I do
At Yarra Valley Lodge, you are welcome to host an unforgettable wedding ceremony at the private Conservatory Terrace with great views of the valley and rolling hills. The Conservatory Terrace is an outdoor venue, a lush lawn bordered with stone paving.
The ceremony package includes timber chairs and carpet runner, so you can add personal touches, wedding arbour and florals of your choice.
In case of wet weather, Yarra Valley Lodge offers a Pre-function area for a weather-proof ceremony.
Wine and Dine at Yarra Valley Lodge
After the ceremony, guests can relax and enjoy drinks before the party moves to the Conservatory. It can accommodate up to 90 guests and requires a minimum of 20 people.
If you are planning an intimate party, the reception can be hosted at Marmion Ballroom.
The basic reception package includes:
- Chef's selection of pre-dinner canapés (half an hour service)
- Two-course feasting menu
- Three-hour beverage package
- Your wedding cake cutting and serving
- White or black napkins
- Table menus
- Wedding night accommodation for newlywed
- Accommodation discount for all wedding guests
Slightly elevated wedding packages include feasting menus with the additional course, a bump in time for venue set up and a 5-hour beverage package.
The cocktail-style package starts with a deluxe charcuterie station, followed by a five-hour canapé menu and a five-hour beverage package.
Regardless of the package, you'll be assigned a dedicated wedding coordinator to help with the seamless organisation.
Accommodation is available in 102 beautiful appointed guest rooms and suites.

We like our room which has gorgeous view. Good for an escape. I give 4 stars is because the location is a bit far from city where restaurants are (about 15 minutes drive). We stayed recently only for one night as we were near by for a friend’s wedding. We would love to come back and utilise the facilities more, especially the golf course!We also ordered room service, which wasn’t that great. We had burgers (veggie and beef) and were both underwhelmed. I can’t vouch for other choices though!The included breakfast was delicious.Beautiful accomodation and scenery. We stayed recently only for one night as we were near by for a friend’s wedding. We would love to come back and utilise the facilities more, especially the golf course!We also ordered room service, which wasn’t that great. The Staff were impeccable, neatly dressed, friendly, attentive. The food was delicious and fresh, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, I loved the share plate idea. The venues you was very nice, not to heavily decorated, Overall I highly recommend this place.We recently had a fantastic experience at Yarra Valley Lodge, came here for a wedding and from when we walked in till when we left we were treated in the most respectful way possible. We had our wedding here in April and they were SIMPLY THE BEST. It may not be schmick like a Sheraton, but it has charm, beauty, amazing surround views and absolutely fabulous customer service that is far better!! The team at Yarra Valley Lodge are one of the most obliging folks we've ever encountered. Their goal was to make to make our wedding day special and that they did.6 STARS!!! It appears grand on arrival, but is only just going from a customer service perspective. We had 3 rooms, each with 4 guests. There was only 2 towels and 1 face washer per room, which is not enough for 2 people, let alone for. We were held up getting into one room because a card payment had declined but reception staff didn’t want to tell us that, so they kept saying the room wasn’t ready.Our family group stayed at the Yarra Valley Lodge overnight when attending a wedding nearby. It appears grand on arrival, but is only just going from a customer service perspective. We had 3 rooms, each with 4 guests.
