Views are superb, decorations are antique and elegant. You can do a lot of photoshoots and tons of different poses. Staff are nice and helpful. Foods are nice and presentable even though I did not really enjoy the Kilpatrick Oysters. Steak is more on the well-done side than my preference - medium. Lava cake is not runny when you cut it. Loved the soft shell crab spring roll.Attended a wedding function of my friend there. Views are superb, decorations are antique and elegant. She could not have done more to make my stay perfect. It was so peaceful and luxurious and unexpected. The building, the decor, the location - everything about this place is delightful and all this time I had no idea it was right on my doorstep! I will be recommending this place to all my friends and family.I had the most wonderful, revitalising and beautiful stay at Villa Howden. The host was delightful. She could not have done more to make my stay perfect. It was so peaceful and luxurious and unexpected. The building, the decor, the location - everything about this place is delightful and all this time I had no idea it was right on my doorstep! We weren’t disappointed. The daily breakfast options were minimal but the amount provided was substantial and enjoyable, (although I’m not a fan of thermos coffee and annoyed I had to pay an extra $5 for a decent coffee). Dinner, again a limited menu but the food was delicious and more than adequate.
