Our dedicated team of wedding specialists is committed to making your vision a reality. During your site tour, you'll have the opportunity to meet our experienced wedding planners, who will guide you through the various aspects of our venue. They will provide valuable insights, answer your questions, and help you envision how your special day can be perfectly tailored to your desires.
There is an extraordinary variety of locations for wedding ceremonies through Werribee Park, with each site exuding its own unique ambiance.
The brilliance of hosting your ceremony within the park is that while you are off capturing your ‘just married’ bliss during your photography session, your guests can enjoy scrumptious canapés and cocktails on the front lawn before your reception party kicks off, all conveniently located on the same property grounds.
THE FORMAL GARDENSThere are 10 ceremony sites through the Werribee Park gardens to say “I do”:
- State Rose Garden: Over 5000 rose bushes in bloom October to April.
- Lemon Scented Gums: A secluded & naturally fragrant location.
- The Lake: A secluded location with romance of yesteryear.
- Bunya Bunya: A beautiful & natural setting with rolling lawn.
- The Parterre: Expansive and colourful with the majestic Werribee Mansion as the backdrop.
- Silky Oak: Hidden in greenery with a view of the Mansion tower or gardens as your backdrop.
- The Homestead: Features bluestone walls, original farm machinery and gum trees.
- The Laundry Cottage Lawn: A smaller area of lush lawn to share your first kiss
- Courtyard: Nestled amongst the walls of the magnificent Werribee Mansion

The Reception
Continue the celebration in The Refectory featuring classic architecture, designer chandeliers, high ceilings and luxury furnishings. The Refectory is a fusion of modern heritage, offering a stunning backdrop to celebrations with your guests. Recently restored, this building still has it’s historical charm while breathing an air of elegance into your event.

It was a nice big room with high ceiling, it does feel slightly old but still have royal feeling to it. Foods were nice. Had scallops for entree and that was cooked well. For main we had either salmon or pork belly. I liked the salmon better, I think pork belly skin was a bit chewy, although meat was nice and tender. Panna cotta dessert’s appearance is very pretty, but taste was a tad sweet for me.Came here for a wedding and this time had the reception at the Refectory part. His service and team was perfect!!! However, the service of the wedding planning team at Bursaria could be improved. Our wedding planner friend who has been working with the venue for many times also mentioned the previous team(staff) was way better.We just had our wedding at The refectory, beautiful place for photos, a big thank you to Sam who organised everything for our reception on the day.
