The set up, how smoothly everything went and overall how lovely the staff were from the early hrs of the morning all the way through till the wedding had finished and still when we went for breakfast the next day. I highly recommend the the booking the valley grove for your reception! It has the rustic look, feel and vibe that everything was just perfect. The decorations were beautiful, the food was delicious.Jodi and the Girls who work at my wedding were absolutely fantastic! Do I have to book accommodation as part of the wedding package?
No. Although we offer great accommodation rates for the wedding party and guests, there is no obligation to book accommodation as part of the wedding package.
Can I just book for the ceremony location, or reception venue - not both?
Yes. We offer packages for ceremony or reception only. You will find greater benefit combining both, but the choice is yours!
Can I have my ceremony or photos out on the golf course?
Yes. We can arrange a ceremony and/or photo shoot to take place on our beautiful 18-hold golf course (will depend on time of day). You will need to hire buggies.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
No. The Resort is not a BYO licensed venue, but do check out our affordable drinks packages which can be tailored to suit.
Is there a honeymoon suite?
Yes. We would recommend one of our Penthouses or go all out and book the Presidential Suite.The Presidential Suit is complimentary on your wedding night only.
The beautifully appointed Presidential Suite combines a large private balcony featuring an 8 person Spa, a private bedroom with a king bed, dining area with an 8 seater dining table, a living area with a twin sofa bed, premium lounge suite and uninterrupted golf course, pool and Kooralbyn Valley views.
Size: 100m² Includes premium in-room amenities.
How do I get to the wedding venue, and is parking available?
Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley is located in the heart of the Scenic Rim, just over an hours travel from both Brisbane and Gold Coast.
Major airports:
Brisbane - 1 hour 20 mins drive southwest
Gold Coast - 1 hour 30 mins drive northwest
Located in a semi-rural area, no public transport is available. However please contact us for private coach transfers if required.
There is plenty of free guest parking available at the Resort.
Are kids welcome?
Yes. Children are welcome at Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley. There are plenty of fun activities for kids including putt-putt, boating, horse riding and more. Not to mention lots of wallabies hopping around!
Do you offer a discount on accommodation for my guests?
Yes, special rates are made available to all wedding guests for all room types.
I would like an outdoor ceremony however what happens if it rains?
Should you choose an outdoor ceremony venue, we will also reserve our covered deck in front of Lilies Restaurant & Bar as your wet weather back up.
I don’t want all the inclusions of a package.
Our packages do offer some flexibility, however in the case that the packages are not suitable we can customise a package to meet your requirements and budget.
