Day hire of the venue runs from 8am to 10pm. By 10.30pm all guests must make their way home.
Set on 120 acres, The Bower Estate has a space to suit any ceremony or event, ranging from intimate groves for two, right up to spaces that can accommodate 150 guests. The marquee included within your Bower package has the capacity to accommodate 120 guests seated with a dance floor, or 150 guests standing (cocktail) with a dance-floor. All ceremony spaces have different capacities, ranging from 60 in the pine forest, through to 150 at Hillview.

To help you get started, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite vendors. Please note that all external catering and bar services must be pre-approved by the venue. Additionally, any alcohol service requires licensed RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for you and your guests.
We recommend hiring a return bus from a Gold Coast location for your guests. Should guests wish to self-drive the car park can accommodate 40 cars. We do not recommend getting taxis or Ubers to/from the Estate. Should you require private transport we recommend organising this with a private company.
We want to ensure all our guests can navigate around the estate with ease. The Bower Estate has an onsite buggy to transport ambulant guests and wedding party around the property.
The Estate has five toilet facilities, including an PWD bathroom and baby changing area. We have hand sanitiser and insect repellent available for all guests.
We’re always prepared for a little rain on your big day. For light showers, we provide umbrellas for you and your guests to stay dry while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. If the weather turns wet, your ceremony can be seamlessly relocated to the charming Bower Cottage verandah (suitable for up to 100 guests) or the elegant marquee — ensuring comfort without compromising the magic.
The Bower Cottage can be used for wedding preparations and overnight stay (up to 10 guests overnight). As the cottage is included as a wedding suite for the day in most of our packages, it can only be booked for accommodation if it is available.
Our venue is inclusive of contracted event coordination. Your coordinator will manage your entire day and personally oversee the execution of your wedding set up and work with all involved (from musicians to your MC) to ensure your day runs smoothly. You will also have access to your own online planning portal and work with our team’s wealth of knowledge and wonderful preferred suppliers to help create your dream day.
We adore furry friends and understand they’re part of the family! If you’d like to include your pet in your ceremony, we’d be delighted to consider it, we just ask that you obtain written approval from The Venue in advance.
