They are welcome to manage the setting up, decorating, organising BYO beverages, choosing caterers and if required, choosing a marquee, to create a personalised wedding.

A wedding ceremony, depending on weather, can be held anywhere in the garden at a location of their choice, or on the very large covered deck, or inside the house. A larger wedding reception can be held in a hired marquee or teepee, on the sprawling lawns beside the house, close to power and with easy access to the kitchen.

Suzarosa offers a “Recommended Supplier List” to help with choice of caterers, marquee companies, florists, celebrants, hairdressers, etc if required. Those on this list have been recommended by other wedding couples but there is no obligation to use them. This list can be supplied on request.

What services do you offer ?

Suzarosa caters to couples who prefer to be more involved in the setting up, decorating, choosing caterers, having BYO beverages and other decisions associated with a personalised wedding. But we are here to assist in any way and can make recommendations on suppliers if needed (caterers, marquees, hairdressers, etc).

How large is the property?

Suzarosa, an 8 acre property in the orchard region of the Blue Mountains, is an ideal location for a bespoke, intimate and memorable wedding with just a few guests or up to around 160 guests. It offers a relaxed environment, lots of space inside and out, views to forever over mountain ravines and is only 1.5 hours from Sydney.

Suzarosa offers self-cater group accommodation for up to 13 people in the oversized, extremely comfortable 5 bedroom house.

Its rammed-earth walls, are the colour of Ayers Rock at sunset. The walls lend a warm earthy feel to the house, aided by a large fireplace. They also ensure the house is cool in summer and warm in winter although reverse cycle air conditioning assists.

The property is offered as a wedding venue and/or a self-catering getaway, with accommodation for up to 13 people (5 couples and 3 singles). Only one group booking is taken at a time with that group having exclusive use of the house and grounds.

There is wi-fi, several flat screen televisions and a small Bose sound system.

Outside, adjacent to an enormous timber deck covered by a roof opening pergola, with a large gas barbeque area, is a large grassy expanse suitable for a game of cricket, soccer and weddings.
