Plan your dream wedding by the beach! With our spectacular backdrop of beautiful sunsets and waterfront views, the Sandbar is ideal for those looking for a bright and stylish venue. The venue offers an adaptable space, taking advantage of its location with floor to ceiling glass bi-fold doors, show casing the amazing views of the bay. Stepping it up for your Sandbar wedding, we have created three decoration packages to suit different styles and budgets, with the option of adding items such as an arbour for your ceremony. All of our packages include set up and pack down, so you can relax and enjoy the night without the stress of organising the details, we do that all for you. A Sandbar wedding is truly memorable with the deck sitting on the sand just a few metres from the water. The Sandbar allows for stunning picturesque views of the ocean and sunset for your ceremony. The Sandbar can host cocktail weddings up to 150 guests. With the split level venue, floor to ceiling glass doors capturing the essence of the magnificent Port Phillip Bay, this fresh event space is the perfect canvas to transform into a space that reflects your personality and style to create everything you envisioned on your special day. Our Event Manager will guide you through the timing of formalities, along with your selection of canapés and drinks ensuring your expectations are exceeded.

At The Sandbar we have the option of hosting your ceremony on the deck overlooking the beach or inside our event space. The cost to have your ceremony at The Sandbar is $1000; included in this cost are 20 chairs, a signing table with linen and use of our arch.

Sandbar: The Perfect Wedding Venue!

What can I say about this amazing place? Our wedding was held there on Nov 12 and it was such a wonderful experience. Our guests could not be happier. A big thank you to our event co-ordinator Caitlin Hadley for always being there and answering those tricky questions! Would not hesitate for a moment to have a function at the Sandbar. The Sandbar: Perfect Venue, Exceptional Staff

To say we were thrilled with our Wedding at The Sandbar is an understatement. The venue is perfect, beautifully managed and operated by wonderful staff. The food was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the venue or the staff, and we were absolutely delighted to have hosted our wedding there. It will forever hold such a special place in our hearts.

The Sandbar: Perfect Wedding Venue!

Cannot recommend The Sandbar highly enough! We had a small wedding ceremony and reception at the venue, and it was perfect. Cannot thank Rebecca and her team enough for all their hard work. They were extremely helpful and accommodating making sure that everything was exactly how we wanted for the night. We had a great time and the feedback from all other guests was nothing short of glowing! Highly recommend you consider The Sandbar for your next event.

The Sandbar: A Magical Wedding Venue

Hosted our wedding a couple of months ago at The Sandbar. We had the BEST time. Lovely staff that night including bartenders, waiters and security. Sam was just amazing to us! She made sure we were being looked after. Food was DELICIOUS, our guests were in fact very pleased with the canapés being served hot. Sound system was on point and we definitely had a lot of fun that night. Very pleased about the overall experience and we don't regret choosing The Sandbar as our wedding venue.
