Rydges Geelong features urban event spaces for large and intimate wedding receptions and ceremonies.
Rydges Geelong Event Centre is a spacious, pillar-less space with retractable skylights, a private entrance, a large foyer, and a built-in dance floor. It can accommodate 330 people for a banquet or 600 people for a cocktail party.
The alternatives for smaller parties include other event spaces available at the hotel:
- Barwon: Features built-on AV system and options to open and connect with adjoining rooms to accommodate larger celebrations; capacity: 90 people for a banquet or 140 people for a cocktail party
- Ms Nautica: Stylish space, supports different floor plans, suited for intimate receptions; capacity: 30 people for a banquet or 50 people for a cocktail party
Wedding Packages at Rydges Geelong
Rydges Geelong offers three wedding packages to suit different budgets and are available for a minimum of 80 guests. For weddings with lower guest numbers, the venue requires a fee for room hire.
The classic wedding package features:
- 3-hour venue hire
- Dedicated wedding specialist
- Overnight accommodation with late checkout and breakfast and discounted rates for group guest booking
- Wedding menu – 2-hour canapé service with four small and 1 large canapé
- Discounted parking for the guests
- 3-hour standard beverage package
Other wedding packages are upgraded with menu tasting, 4 or 5-room hire and plated dinner service. Optional beverage package upgrades and adding extra hours to your wedding celebration are available.
