Description
Red Spice Road is one of Melbourne’s original Asian fusion restaurants, set inside the iconic Victorian Racing Club, a heritage-listed building full of character right in the heart of the CBD.
The main dining room is spacious, seating up to 128 guests on long communal tables or 150 standing, all under Melbourne’s biggest red lantern. Large windows let in plenty of light, and you’ll be dining surrounded by some of Bromley’s famous paintings.
For smaller gatherings, we have three private dining rooms, two of which can be combined and include exclusive access to a private bar:
- McKillop Room – 60 guests seated
- Bangkok Room – 60 guests seated
- Hanoi Room – 30 guests seated
- Bangkok & Hanoi (combined) – 90 guests seated

Everything about Red Spice Road is just perfect, from the Asian-style decoration, the warm atmosphere, the authentic food to the lovely staff. Therefore, we decided to organize our wedding reception here. What are the Capacities of the Room / Venue?
For our Private Dining Rooms, we have 3 spaces available. Our McKillop and Bangkok Room's are set at a seated capacity of 60 Guests, and our Hanoi Room can accomodate 30 guests seated. For exclusive use of the upstairs space, we can offer up to 90 guests split between the Bangkok and Hanoi Room.
For a venue book out, we can host 150 on a cocktail style set up or 128 seat down.

What options are available for Drinks?
We can offer beverages as part of an all inclusive package, or we can provide drinks as an on consumption sale. We have an extensive Australian and International wine list, signature cocktails, craft beer and artisanal spirits. Speak to our team and we can help create bespoke drink offerings that will suit your crowd for your special day!
Do you have food options available for Children?
