Projekt 3488 is proud to be the venue for celebrating love. It is widely recognised as one of the best venues for same-sex wedding venues in Yarra Valley and beyond.
This relaxing space has several, unique locations for ceremonies, available year-round. You can choose the deck, main hall or loft to declare your love in peaceful and inclusive surroundings.
Weddings at Projekt 3488
Projekt 3488 is a versatile event, available for rent for romantic ceremonies, classic receptions, wedding parties or intimate gatherings. For example, you can choose the gardens to throw the most spectacular cocktail party or serve pre-reception drinks at the deck bar.
The main hall hosts seated dinners at grande Oregon banquet tables on concertina suspensions. After the dinner, the party begins as the tables are rolled back. Included with the 5-hour venue hire are:
- Private room for preparations and breakout sessions
- Venue set up and clean up
- Glassware, crockery, cutlery, tableware
- Lighting system
- Smoke machine, disco ball, laser lighting
- Cake table and knife
- Microphone
- High-quality sound system
The hall can accommodate 110 guests for sit-down receptions or 140 for cocktail-style weddings. On weekdays and Saturdays, celebrations end at midnight, while Sunday weddings last until 9 pm.
Food and Drinks at Projekt 3488
Projekt 3488 has an exclusive caterer for all celebrations: Locavore Catering, offering seasonal menus. Expect a wide range of canapés, street food stations, feast-style mains and entrees and shared desserts. Locavore Catering has a separate vegan menu.
Locavore wedding sit-down menus range from a simple main course with sides to a luxurious multi-course meal with canapés and dessert, offering customisable options in between.
Drinks are served as part of the five-hour beverage package, featuring sparkling, red and white wines, beers, ciders and non-alcoholic drinks. Upgrade the package with a cocktail upon arrival and a gin bar.

Mark and Sandi were great right from the start of the process all the way through until the end. All our guests were saying how helpful they were throughout the event whilst remaining unobtrusive. The space itself is beautiful and has so many interesting parts to explore including the upstairs lounge seating area, the convertible dining area (which magically becomes the dance floor), and the gorgeous native gardens for when you need a break...We just had our wedding here and it was PERFECT! Mark and Sandi were great right from the start of the process all the way through until the end. All our guests were saying how helpful they were throughout the event whilst remaining unobtrusive. It was everything we wanted and more. Thank you so much Mark and Sandi and staff you were so friendly and all the guests would rave about how amazing and down to Earth you were!! So many photo opportunities in the lovely garden and lighting and guests had a ball exploring all the little details and funky items of the venue. It was a bit far for some of our guests but upon arrival they all agreed it was 100% worth Had our little ‘micro’ wedding here 05.04.24 and couldn’t have been more perfect!
