At The Palais Royale Boutique in Katoomba in the upper Blue Mountains, we can host your wedding, ensuring it’s elegant and memorable. When you step foot into our stunning Grand Ballroom, you’ll surely be awash with feelings of love and romance from the beautiful ambience that exudes from the mirrored space inspired by 18th-century French design. The Grand Ballroom was first built by Mr and Mrs Marsh somewhere between 1914 and 1924 when the couple won a public lottery. It was then restored by its most recent owners in 1997 and features leadlight windows and intricate cornice work as well as a sprung dance floor and fabulous chandeliers. In addition to the enlivened Grand Ballroom, The Palais also boasts a spacious dining room. The dining room still retains its original floorboards, fireplace, light fittings and colour scheme, with classic dining chairs recreated from old photographs to match those first installed by Mrs Marsh.
