Awarded a minimum of 1 hat in the coveted "Age Good Food Guide" every year since 1996. A deluxe interior with purple chairs, chandeliers and gilt mirrors promises indulgence and refinement, but the menu shirks the safe European fare one might expect in such an elegant environment, opting for more flamboyant Asian fusion. Matteo's Restaurant can accommodate for up to 130 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner or up to 200 for a cocktail-style event.
