At Log Cabin Ranch – standard hire of our venue is from Friday evening through until Sunday afternoon. Taking the time pressure OFF your dream day... making it a dream WEEKEND! Allowing you to extend your celebrations with your loved ones.
Wedding packages at Log Cabin Ranch are on a self-catering/DIY basis, allowing the cost for your wedding to be considerably reduced. Log Cabin Ranch are happy to assist you with Recommended Supplier contacts for all your needs (Please refer to our Recommended Suppliers page). Or you are most welcome to appoint suppliers of your choosing.
There are several Ceremony locations on the Log Cabin Ranch property that you may wish to consider for your "i do's" including an indoor Ceremony in The Stables, or Outdoors in The Secret Garden, Paddock Arbour, Lawn Rotunda or a private spot of your choosing!
Receptions can be as formal or as informal as you wish at Log Cabin Ranch. With an array of adjoining Reception spaces to suit your needs and your plans including The Barn (the perfect space for indoor seated or cocktail functions), Festoon Light area (a beautiful spot to share a drink around the wine barrels), BBQ Kitchen (a beautiful vantage point for cocktail hour and a grazing platter!) and The Lawn (an expansive grassed area perfect for Marquees, Tipis, Lawn Games and more!).
The Log Cabin Ranch offers the unique opportunity to enjoy your wedding over the whole weekend with exclusive use of our venue from Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon.
With on-site Bunkhouse Accommodation for up to 70-guests - You also have the option of inviting Guests to stay overnight, extending your celebrations and time with loved ones into the next day. Log Cabin Ranch also have 6 x Boho Glamping Tents, fully decked-out for you + your Guests to enjoy across the weekend. We also have space for additional Glamping or BYO Caravans, Tents, Camper Trailers or similar.
We welcome the opportunity for tours by appointment only. Inspections are welcomed and highly recommended so staff can discuss how to personalise your celebration.

Courtney and Mark were there with us from the beginning, helping us with the thousands of questions before the big day. On the day itself they were there supporting and guiding us & helped us make it the most magical day! Having a beautiful venue with a backdrop to die for, accommodated all our family and friends which is something not a lot of venues offer. Courtney and Mark were an absolute delight to work with and their list of vendors that they provided for us made the whole process so much easier. It definitely cut down the stress for me. We are still getting compliments about the whole weekend. We had 3 different types of food trucks, and we could not fault, it was delicious Thankyou for making it just the most memorable time Yvette and MatthewOur wedding was held here on the 6th of September. Can we hold a date/weekend before officially booking?
Yes, you are welcome to. We can place what we call a TENTATIVE HOLD on that weekend for you. A tentative-hold means that the date is removed as being available in our system – and temporarily set-aside for you both. A tentative-hold is for a period of 1-month (or until our next available group-inspection date). If you would like to proceed with a tentative-hold – we require a $200 non-refundable date holding fee. This fee relates to the date/weekend being taken out of our calendar and out of potential consideration for all the other beautiful couples also hoping to secure an available date. Following your inspection, if you then decide to proceed with a booking at Log Cabin Ranch and further officially securing your date…. This $200 holding fee is then deducted from the $2,000 Booking Fee.
You hire your Venue for the Weekend, what does that mean?
Log Cabin Ranch only do 1 Wedding each Weekend. So each Couple has exclusive use of Log Cabin Ranch from Friday afternoon through to Sunday afternoon. Officially, 5:00pm Friday through to 1:00pm Sunday. However, pending any Mid-Week Bookings either side, we try to be as flexible as we can with Arrival & Departure times. If we can get you in any earlier on the Friday afternoon, we'll always try our best to!. So the Venue is yours exclusively for the whole weekend!
What does a "typical" Weekend Wedding look like at Log Cabin Ranch?
The Friday afternoon is usually set-up time. Followed by a relaxed dinner with loved ones. Often utilising our Outdoor BBQ Kitchen and easing into the Weekend with a BBQ and drinks!
The Saturday is all about Wedding Prep! Hair & Makeup Teams can arrive in our on-site Retreat Room as early as 5:00am. Your Wedding Ceremony can begin any time you like. With Photos & Reception to follow.
Log Cabin Ranch has on-site Accommodation for up to 70-guests in our Bunkhouse. With an additional 6 x Glamping Tents for those that would prefer to Glamp! Plus additional room for BYO Caravans, Tents or similar. So the Weekend celebration doesn't end there! Invite up to 100-guests to stay Overnight!
Sunday morning typically involves some sort of Recovery Brekky!... Extending those celebrations with strong coffees, yummy food, relaxed time together. Some Couples bring in a professional Coffee Van and Catering. Others prefer to DIY this aspect of their Weekend.
What is the Capacity for SEATED Events at Log Cabin Ranch?
Our Barn reception space can allow for an array of table/seating layouts. Using one of our suggested table/seating layouts which includes space for a band/DJ and dance-floor… our Barn can currently seat up to 90 guests. Greater than 90 guests can be seated, but these will impede on dance-floor space. For larger seated functions – couples may like to consider an additional structure on our Main Lawn area such as a Marquee or Tipi etc.
Can we include our pet dog(s) in our Wedding?
Yes, you are welcome to include your pet dog(s) as part of your Wedding Ceremony. Pets are welcome to join you across your Weekend stay at Log Cabin Ranch. Chat to us about how to make this possible and how best to include your pet dog(s) as part of your Celebration.
We are only looking for 1-day or 1-night hire. Can we just hire Log Cabin Ranch for the 1-day instead of the whole weekend?
You are most welcome to only utilise our Venue for the 1-day or 1-nights, however hire of Log Cabin Ranch is still for the Weekend. The Hire Cost remains the same whether you only utilise the Venue for the 1-day or the whole weekend. We do not separate out our days of hire. Log Cabin Ranch only do just ONE Wedding a weekend. We like to think this is what sets us apart! For many Wedding Venues that are churning out 4 or more Weddings a Weekend, we're just doing the one. This allows us to get to know each & every Couple, immerse in their plans & to ensure we can assist in bringing everything together as smoothly & seamlessly as possible.
We are wanting Food Trucks for our Reception Catering. Is that possible?
Absolutely! Log Cabin Ranch is a DIY Venue, so you bring in the Catering of your choosing. Whether that's Food Trucks or Catering that requires the use of our on-site commercial Kitchen... anything & everything is possible.
Log Cabin Ranch have some fantastic Recommended Food Truck Suppliers. But we always love to welcome new Food Trucks too! You're not limited by our Recommended Suppliers List, although the Food Trucks that have made it to the list are pretty incredible!
Can we bring in our own BYO Alcohol?
YES! You’re more than welcome to BYO your alcohol (Eg: Do a bulk order through Dan Murphys or similar and bring along with you to chill in our Cool Room). Log Cabin Ranch simply requires that a registered/Professional Bar Service Companies (with registered/current ABN or CBN & current RSA) is hired for your bar service throughout the duration of your Reception. Across all other times of the weekend, fine to BYO and consume as you would in your own home. But during the official hours of the beginning of your Ceremony (Eg: 3pm) through until the end of your Reception (11pm), Alcohol must be professionally served. Log Cabin Ranch have several fantastic Professional Bar Service Companies that will come in and serve your alcohol for you! They simply bring in the staff, glassware, ice, bar tools, bar tubs and so forth, set it all up, provide incredible bar service, pack it all down, put whatever is still remaining back in the Cool Room, clean up and away they go!
We are looking for something smaller like an Elopement or Micro-Wedding, do you offer these?
Yes we do, but not directly.
If you’re looking for something much smaller – Log Cabin Ranch are also a Partner Venue of Elope Australia.
Elope Australia can assist with boutique Mid-Week Elopements (0-10 guests) or Micro-Weddings (10-40 guests), with packages including Celebrant, Videography, Flowers, Cake & more!

YES! Log Cabin Ranch also offer WEEKDAY Weddings & Events.
Weekday Weddings & Events are held on selected Wednesdays. With our days of hire shifting from Friday-Sunday for Weekend Hire, to Tuesday-Thursday for Midweek Hire.
Wednesday Weddings & Events (with hire of LCR from Tuesday-Thursday) are at a 20% discount off our standard Weekend Hire Rates.
