On 200 acres of pristine Otway land, you can find modern amenities, forests and spots with beautiful views of the Pennyroyal Valley.
Capacity at King Parrot Cottages & Event Centre
The reception hall at King Parrot has the capacity of 80 people for a formal, sit-down wedding reception. If you prefer a cocktail party, the capacity expands.
For larger weddings with up to 120 guests, a marquee can be rented to provide covered reception space.
Ceremony sites on the estate are beautiful, and you can book a venue to see them in person to feel the atmosphere and get inspired.
To host a wedding at King Parrot Cottages, you’ll have to book the entire property for at least two nights.

King Parrot offers six cottages and camp facilities in the rainforest campgrounds. The maximum number of guests who can stay there is 60. If you have more non-local wedding guests, there are plenty of accommodation options nearby.

Nicole and Ryan are the most beautiful, genuine people. Nicole was so quick and helpful in her responses to all our emails and questions, while Ryan was an absolute champion over our three-day wedding, staying onsite to help out wherever we needed. We felt so taken care of, as people rather than as customers. All the cottges and the reception hall were 5 star: so rustic, beautiful and peaceful. Nic and Ryan were incredible hosts and all our guests had the most epic weekend staying in the beautiful KP. It felt like a fairytale - kangaroos jumping across the paddock as the sun set, beautiful cabins, amazing facilities and the best vibes ever. Best decision we ever made.We had our wedding here in January 2023 and it was PERFECT. Nic and Ryan were incredible hosts and all our guests had the most epic weekend staying in the beautiful KP.
