- Sheerwater Restaurant: Only restaurant on the island, available for casual dining and intimate reception; capacity: 12 guests
- Pandanus Lounge: Luxury space on the Mezzanine level, features breathtaking views and a warm atmosphere; capacity: 35-40 guests
Wedding Catering At Heron Island Resort
With diverse catering options, Heron Island Resort creates an exceptional dining experience. Some of the possibilities for your wedding are:
- Group dining casual buffet with the option to upgrade to a luxury seafood-based buffet
- Two-course set menu: Variations
- Three-course set menu: Variations
- Cocktail food: Canapé service for 1 to 3 hours (2 – 12 hot and cold canapés)
- Tasting dining menu: 5 or 7-course meal with matching wine

The restaurant offered a wide range of different options to choose from. And I personally had a blast at their day spa offering massages and facials. Our room was so neat and organised. We had a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. I personally love coffee. I must say that Heron Island Resort is a paradise.From the moment we arrived the Staff were all friendly and helpful. The resort team was warm and welcoming, super friendly and we felt at home right away. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough. Food was at the upper end of the scale with some real highlights (loved the fish & chips and the line-up of desert) with veggie options available. The snorkel equipment was well-maintained. Fairly basic accommodation and amenities, but sitting in the room is not the point. Be prepared for very noisy birds at night. Staff couldn’t have been nicer - special shout out to the kitchen for being careful with allergies, Lauren at reception, and master reef guide Elliot.Incredible location.
