Fantastic service, really speedy and personal too, the wait staff tonight were just incredible, especially the lovely lady with the short blonde hair. Food was spectacular too! Came out looking so appetising and tasted just as great. Such a lovely place to dine with fantastic views over Lake Macquarie. The food was reasonably priced and a good variety of tasty dishes. The staff were very efficient and helpful when ordering and delivering our food. Highly recommend the Gunyah Hotel. Such a lovely place to dine with fantastic views over Lake Macquarie. Came here with a large group for a birthday dinner and the staff were great in getting the tables organised so I could decorate them for the occasion. Nothing was a bother. The food was delicious too. It was a Wed night and they had trivia on ( which would have been good if they informed me at the time of booking), but we enjoyed it anyway. We had our gym Christmas Party in the function room over the weekend and we've received overwhelming reviews from our members about how great the night was ever since. Throughout the night, everyone raved about how nice the room looked, how good the food tasted, and how friendly and accommodating the staff were. I would like to give a big shout out to Rachel who could not have been more helpful throughout the planning process and on the night.We had our gym Christmas Party in the function room over the weekend and we've received overwhelming reviews from our members about how great the night was ever since.
