  • The Imperial Room: Ideal for large weddings, this recently renovated space accommodates 200 to 700 guests. It features a dramatic double timber staircase, a spacious dance floor, and a raised bridal table—all set against a neutral, elegant color scheme.
  • The Venus Room: Perfect for mid-sized weddings with 100 to 200 guests, this room offers stylish interiors, a parquetry dance floor, a staging area, and a fully serviced bar to keep the celebration flowing.
  • The Starlight Room: For more intimate weddings of 50 to 100 guests, this cozy space creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

BRING YOUR CATERER/CATERING?

External Catering Policy

You are welcome to arrange your own catering; All external caterers are required to comply with venue guidelines, including kitchen usage rules, hygiene standards, and bump-in/bump-out times.

Please note:

  • A kitchen usage fee may apply
  • All caterers must provide valid insurance and relevant certifications
  • The venue will not be responsible for food quality or service provided by external vendors
  • Any damages caused by external caterers will be the client’s responsibility

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?

Yes, BYO alcohol is allowed at Grand Star Reception, subject to approval and conditions.

  • A BYO service fee may apply
  • All alcohol must be served by our staff in line with RSA regulations
  • We may set guidelines on quantities and types of alcohol
  • No self-service is permitted
  • All events must comply with responsible service and venue policies

Our team will go through all BYO details with you during the booking process to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.

EXTERNAL SUPPLIERS

Yes, external suppliers such as DJs, bands, decorators, and stylists are welcome at Grand Star Reception at no additional cost.

To ensure a smooth event, we do require:

  • All suppliers to coordinate with our team prior to the event
  • Set-up and pack-down times to be pre-arranged and approved
  • All equipment and activities to comply with venue guidelines and safety requirements

We’re happy to work alongside your chosen suppliers to make sure everything runs seamlessly on the day.
