Description

Vows can be exchanged in our amphitheatre setting with the lake as a backdrop or perhaps an intimate winter wedding indoors in front of a delightful log fire in our function centre. The wedding photographer and guests will appreciate the delightful natural settings in which to visually record and view this special day. Our function centre comfortably seats up to 90 guests with balconies overlooking the lake or for larger groups why not consider having your reception as cocktail style function for up to 150 guests. As we can accommodate guests in our fully self-contained chalets and cabins, there is no need for guests to drive away after enjoying this special occasion. Evedon Lakeside Retreat has six cabins and ten two-storey apartments, all with lakeside views, sleeping a total of 72 people. We can tailor-make a complete wedding package to suit your individual needs. From the setting in which the vows are exchanged, to the range of catering options from which to choose, Evedon Lakeside Retreat can create an intimate wedding that will long be remembered.

Great venue for the wedding. Had a great time. Spiral staircases in some of the units are a bit problematic for older patrons. What a lovely tranquil venue, I recently attended my nephews and his lovely partners wedding, the chef and waitresses went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten free requirements. The chef came out personally with the pizza menu so I could choose a topping. a hidden gema hidden gem
This place is a hidden gem. [...] We didn’t know that this place is prettier than the photos illustrated and also didn’t know that kayaks were free to use as well. The kitchen is fully equipped and the stove is near new. The entire place is just nice and very clean. We were supposed to stay one night only but we decided to extend it by another night. Had lunch at Evedon Lakeside Retreat in Ferguson Valley yesterday and it was a delight. Our food was delicious, service was impeccable, staff were warm and friendly, and the venue and surrounds were breathtakingly beautiful.
