Our property will inspire you to create an unforgettable wedding with family and friends and you will have a lifetime of memories to treasure in these beautiful, quiet surroundings. Weddings at Bewong River Retreat give couples the opportunity to exclusively book accommodation and the venue for their wedding celebration. Our packages include 3 days / 2 nights in our totally private venue. We also host mid week Weddings, Micro Weddings and elopements.

With luxury self-contained bungalows, rustic golf course, and a deep-water river nestled amongst exotic south coast temperate forest where wildlife abounds – all exclusively yours – there is no better place to begin your life together.
Ceremony
You can choose to have your ceremony with the gorgeous Bewong River as your backdrop or anywhere on our property.
Reception
Have your reception taken care of in our large wedding room with permanent marquee, set amongst rolling lawns with the perfect bush outlook, this creates the perfect wedding venue for your special day. Our reception area is fully equipped with everything you need, from tables and chairs, crockery and glassware, to linen and catering equipment. All you need to add is great food, great people, some bubbly and a few personal touches to make this venue truly yours!

Lee was amazing from the minute we had a consultation 12 months ago to the wedding day. She was relaxed and made sure we were too. Nothing was too much to ask of her and she just went above and beyond in every aspect. Without her advice and planning our day wouldn't have been anywhere near as magical as it was! At night the fairy lights and festoons made the whole area feel magical!Where do we start. Lee was amazing from the minute we had a consultation 12 months ago to the wedding day. Honestly we are beyond grateful to Lee. We have both been married before and know first hand how stressful the whole process is of organising a wedding....Hands down the whole process was easy and relaxed, Lee is incredible at what she does and we both could not recommend her any higher. The premises is absolutely stunning and our day was just perfect, all the staff are extremely lovely and accomodating. Lee is absolutely wonderful and a huge credit to Bewong River Retreat. Honestly we are beyond grateful to Lee. It was great to have so many of our guests stay on site in the clean and comfortable bungalows and also with glamping/camping options. Our ceremony was rained out so we were unfortunately unable to have it by the river, but the plan B location in the marquee was just as beautiful, especially with the bush and kangaroos behind us during the ceremony!Absolutely stunning location for our wedding. It was great to have so many of our guests stay on site in the clean and comfortable bungalows and also with glamping/camping options. Our ceremony was rained out so we were unfortunately unable to have it by the river, but the plan B location in the marquee was just as beautiful, especially with the bush and kangaroos behind us during the ceremony!
