Woodlands Hotel, Leeds

As an external wedding supplier at The Woodlands we are always made to feel very welcome. The staff are always friendly, polite and go above and beyond to ensure our couples expectations are met, not forgetting how gorgeous the venue is. They are a pleasure to work alongside and after working closely with the team for over 8 years it feels more like a family. Abbigail and Jess have been the constant thread to all the weddings we have worked at and really cannot do enough to ensure we have everything we need to make sure we can deliver exactly what our clients have booked.

We recently had our wedding at The Woodlands and we had the most perfect day. The staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We booked quite a few of the bedrooms for our guests for both the night before and night of the wedding. All the rooms were of a really high standard and all had their own style. The bridal suite was huge! And had a gorgeous roll top bath.

We had our wedding ceremony and celebration at Woodlands. It is a beautiful setting both inside and out. The orangery is so beautiful and we were fortunate enough to having reception drinks outside. The whole day ran incredibly smoothly from start to finish. The manager Charlotte, wedding coordinator Jessica and their team made sure that everything was well organised and on time. It meant that we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day (which was amazing being a control freak!).

We had our wedding at Woodlands Hotel in Summer 2023 and the day was perfect from start to finish. Prior to our wedding day, the service we got from the wedding coordinators and all of the staff at the venue was fantastic - they took all of our needs on board and turned it into the most amazing day. The orangery is a really lovely room which was transformed from an intimate ceremony room to a beautiful wedding breakfast area. The food and drinks were all absolutely brilliant.

Cannot express how amazing my wedding was! From the very start of the booking and planning stage with Jess to the very end! Would not have changed a thing and Woodlands is the perfect place for your wedding! If I could I would book again - all of my guests have said how amazing it was and how they loved the venue and how friendly the staff were! If I could mark it higher than 5 stars I would, thank you to Jess and all the team at Woodlands! xx

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Woodlands using one of their summer midweek wedding packages, it was on the 31st July 2023. We had the most amazing day and this is all due to the wonderful staff at Woodlands. Our wedding coordinator Jessica was with us from the day we looked around about a year and a half ago, right through the planning process and on our wedding day. She is a credit to the hotel and I can’t thank her enough for making the whole process so easy.

Very nice. Great location, excellent bar and great staff, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful felt very upmarket, Lovely old building with nice features, it was a wedding do and all went well plenty of staff on hand the food was served efficiently and arrived hot “complements to the kitchen the food was lovely” .

I had the pleasure of being at my Daughter and son in laws wedding at the weekend. The event was stunning ,well organised and perfect - thankyou. The staff where courteous, outstanding and polite and helpful, the food was excellent and so was the service. The rooms were clean and so welcoming and the bed was just so comfy. My son and his beautiful wife married at Woodlands on Sunday 30th April. From the second we arrived we felt welcomed by the whole team and the attention to detail both inside and outside in the the hotel grounds was second to none. The orangery looked incredible and the whole team of staff transformed it magically between the service, wedding breakfast and finally the evening celebration. The delicious food, wines and service were all faultless.

Where do I even start?? We got Married on 11th March 2023 and it was THE BEST DAY EVER!!!! The staff were just incredible, particularly Alice on Reception, Mark - Coordinator and Abbigail Milne. Nothing was too much trouble, no issue that couldn't be resolved they helped make our day that bit more special. The Woodlands Hotel is a beautiful venue and was our first choice to get Married after 25 years!!!! Every single one of our guests complimented our choice of venue and took time to tell us.
