We are also licensed for Civil Ceremonies or if you prefer a church wedding there are two lovely local churches to choose from. Plan your perfect wedding at Woodlands Unlike other venues, there are no rules, set numbers or required packages – our wedding coordinators will help you design the day of your dreams from red carpet arrival to rose petal turndown. We can cater for wedding between 30 and 200 guests in our events spaces which include our stunning garden terrace and permanent marquee space. Our wedding planners will look after you every step of the way. Experts in turning your dreams into reality, they can help with everything from room dressing to recommending suppliers. You can also enjoy the luxury of using Woodlands on an exclusive use basis. You and your guests can enjoy the freedom of using the whole hotel and gardens from 1pm on the day of your wedding until 11am the following day.

We recently held our daughter’s wedding at the Woodlands Hotel and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The venue is stunning, the staff were professional and attentive, and everything ran perfectly from start to finish. We’re so grateful to Sarah and the entire Woodlands team for helping create such a wonderful and memorable day. From the moment we arrived, Jess & Marc ensured that every detail was taken care of, from wheelchair accessibility to special dietary needs. They effortlessly accommodated all of our requests with no hassle. The team was highly professional and well-prepared, with each member clearly understanding their role and delivering impeccable service. We had our wedding at Woodlands Hotel and everything was absolutely spot on! The venue is perfect, the staff couldn't do enough for us and they were able to deal with any minor hiccups straight away. The food was fantastic, would 100% recommend. As an external wedding supplier at The Woodlands we are always made to feel very welcome. The staff are always friendly, polite and go above and beyond to ensure our couples expectations are met, not forgetting how gorgeous the venue is. They are a pleasure to work alongside and after working closely with the team for over 8 years it feels more like a family. Abbigail and Jess have been the constant thread to all the weddings we have worked at and really cannot do enough to ensure we have everything we need to make sure we can deliver exactly what our clients have booked. As an external wedding supplier at The Woodlands we are always made to feel very welcome. Cannot express how amazing my wedding was! From the very start of the booking and planning stage with Jess to the very end! Would not have changed a thing and Woodlands is the perfect place for your wedding! If I could I would book again - all of my guests have said how amazing it was and how they loved the venue and how friendly the staff were! We held our wedding here on 07/08/22 and all I can say is if you are considering this venue then do it - you won’t regret it! Firstly, thank you to Jessica for all of your wedding planning and help which guided me smoothly to arrange a wedding in just 15 weeks! There’s is no question that I couldn’t ask. And the menu tasting (included) was a fabulous experience meaning that there were so many possible options for the big day. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, Woodlands is the place! We booked during lockdown after several phone calls and email conversations and I knew from the beginning that the organisation and staff was going to be fantastic. Abbigail was our wedding coordinator and I can’t thank her enough. She is so friendly, professional and settled any worries/questions I had. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, Woodlands is the place! Just got back from our daughters wedding and want to review while my memory was still fresh - a fantastic hotel, immaculate with a very welcoming atmosphere. Check in was easy and there is a lift for people who have difficulty with stairs. Our room was comfortable, warm and well equipped, the large double bed promised a good night sleep. I've never known such helpful staff nothing was too much trouble - the wedding arrangements all provided were faultless - the food was good and nourishing.Just got back from our daughters wedding and want to review while my memory was still fresh - a fantastic hotel, immaculate with a very welcoming atmosphere. Great venue for my nieces weddingGreat venue for my nieces wedding
Would be difficult to find a better venue for a wedding reception. The staff throughout the day were friendly & efficient. The food was very good, well presented, cooked & served well. Rooms were of a high standard & the gardens were lovely for the photos. Breakfast was very good as were the staff serving it.Would be difficult to find a better venue for a wedding reception. Where do I even start?? We got Married on 11th March 2023 and it was THE BEST DAY EVER!!!! The staff were just incredible, particularly Alice on Reception, Mark - Coordinator and Abbigail Milne. Nothing was too much trouble, no issue that couldn't be resolved they helped make our day that bit more special. The Woodlands Hotel is a beautiful venue and was our first choice to get Married after 25 years!!!!
