Wonwood Barton is open all year around with different packages depending on size. The Roundhouse is a perfect dining space for smaller gatherings of up to 80 guests sitting down and in the The Greenfield Marquee we have space for up to 120 people and plenty of room for different seating option, separate head table, games and performances, as well as a great dance floor to strut your stuff into the evening.
The Corner Barn is a brilliant place for intimate micro or elopement weddings and we also hold ceremonies there if you are looking for a Winter Wedding.
We have 7 luxury suites that provide the perfect resting place for after the celebrations and all weddings have exclusive use of the venue.
At Wonwood Barton we are here to create a special day that is unique to you. You can simply hire the venue and make all other arrangements between yourselves, or we will be happy to organise the entire day for you. The rooms were cosy and spacious and the beds were like sleeping in a cloud. The host could not have been more accommodating and literally let us have the run of the whole venue to decorate as we chose. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
I know its bias, but my daughters! We spent two weeks building the venue especially for her and had the whole family there. I think its important for weddings to bring the community together.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make use of the whole venue - all of the barns, the orchard, the courtyard and the lawns for socialising and play. What you want most is time with your guest in a relaxed setting. And don't forget - they sky is really the limit on your special day - let us know and we will help you make it happen.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A surf simulator - I wish it could have stayed.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The view from the outdoor ceremony overlooking the Tamar Valley and into Cornwall, its stunning on a sunny day.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes of course we have but we are sworn to secrecy. Plenty of film stars and models frequent Devon and Cornwall.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Anything with truffle to be honest! Can not get enough of it
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Pizza and Ice Cream, the perfect way to end a great wedding!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The Roundhouse, there are very few barns like this in the South West anymore and it makes the Courtyard the perfect post ceremony hang out with a few drinks.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
From next year it will be the Shepherds Hut! We always wanted one and we built it ourselves, it will look soooo nice in the orchard by the ceremony location - game changer fur us and our offering.
