Congratulations! We are delighted that you are considering Widbrook Grange, our Grade 2 listed farmhouse, for your special day. The house and grounds have been lovingly restored to embody the property's rustic roots. Our ceremony room is located in a converted barn and is licensed to hold wedding ceremonies for up to 60 people. Wedding breakfasts are served in our Kitchen Restaurant, which is adjacent to an impressive gin bar with over 160 local and speciality gins! We can host evening receptions for up to 80 people and can accommodate up to 50 guests in our 19 individually designed bedrooms. We understand each wedding is unique, and we pride ourselves on ensuring that yours is just that. You have the choice of hiring Widbrook Grange on an Exclusive or Non Exclusive use basis, and we have three inclusive wedding packages to make planning your wedding as simple as possible – these can be upgraded or tailored to your exact requirements. We offer Non-Exclusive Venue Hire and Exclusive use with the below: • Private use of our Manvers Suite Ceremony Room, including set up with cream Chiavari chairs, ivory sashes, cream carpet aisle runner, use of stereo system. • Private use of our restaurant for the wedding breakfast until 6pm with tables, chairs, linen fully set up (decorations/flowers not included). • Private use of Manvers Suite for evening reception, including the bar and garden until 12am (last orders/music off 11pm) • 3 double bedrooms and a Bridal Suite on the night of your wedding. All packages include the following: wedding co-ordinator to assist with planning, a dedicated manager to assist on the day, a master of ceremonies, white table linen, table cloths and napkins, personalised table menus, easel for table plan (table plan not included) and a cake knife for cake cutting. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
I have personally co-ordinated over 400 weddings at the venue, so it is very hard to choose just one! However we recently hosted a very intimate surprise wedding where the couple's children had no idea that their parents had planned to get married. They thought they were staying at the hotel for their Mum's 60th birthday weekend. On arrival, the couple gave their children envelopes with a clue to what was really happening that weekend – details of their roles in the wedding! The cat was then finally out of the bag as we played 'going to the chapel and we're going to get married' and the registrars arrived!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't feel pressured by other people's opinions, and do what feels right for you and your partner. It's your day. But most importantly don't stress over the small stuff and remember to enjoy the process!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our couples allowed their dog to steal the limelight and walk down the aisle before the bride. They even had their own song to walk to!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The front of our Grade II listed Georgian farmhouse is covered in a beautiful wisteria, which when in flower is a stunning background for wedding photography.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We couldn't possibly say! But, one of our couples booked a world-famous band to perform at their evening party.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our mini Yorkshire puddings filled with rare beef and horseradish are a crowd-pleaser.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Grazing boards, because you can enjoy a quick snack between all the dancing.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
We have unique features around every corner, so there are too many to mention but couples love our Bridal Suite, which has the sink mounted onto an old bike!

Our fantastic team who go above and beyond for each and every one of our couples.
