Fringing the pretty village of Kington Langley in north Wiltshire, Kin House is a Grade II*-listed manor set among walled gardens and private woodland.
Getting married at Kin House is like having your favourite hotel all to yourself. Lazy mornings lingering over a hearty breakfast. A yoga class that leaves you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated for the day ahead.
Kin House can be your home away from home – with plenty of indulgent extras. Inside you’ll find 12 bedrooms, lounges, a Dressing Room and Barbers, as well as a main hall and bar for celebrations of up to 200. Our Garden House adjoining the original walled garden is the perfect setting for civil ceremonies or post-wedding brunches.
For Summer 2026, Kin House is introducing The Lodge, a six-bedroom house located at the end of the south-facing garden, separate from the main house. Sleeping 12 guests in double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, each provides everything you need for a great night’s sleep.
Settle in and think of us your own country house for a day, a weekend, or more.
We have a carefully chosen list of florists, calligraphers, photographers, bakers and more who share our sense of style and ethos, but you're welcome to bring your own.
Confetti is welcome as long as it's made from fresh or dried flower petals, and while outdoor fireworks and sparklers aren't allowed, cold handheld cake sparklers inside are absolutely fine. Have something else in mind? Just ask - we'll always do our best to make it work.
Yes of course! Our producers are the most organised people we know and love getting into the finer details. They’ll be on-hand to guide you through the planning process every step of the way.
Because Kin House is hired exclusively by you, there's no lack of indoor space if the weather won't permit an outdoor ceremony. Our outdoor arbour ceremony space and walled garden are available from April to September, weather permitting — but if you need to move inside, we have beautiful alternatives ready for you. The Garden House is a stunning light-filled space with double-height doors that connect to the walled garden, and it seats up to 200. The Hearth Room, with its original 18th-century fireplace, is equally lovely for more intimate ceremonies. We'll always have a plan in place well ahead of the day.
Kin House is yours exclusively for the duration of your event. We'll confirm the exact timings with you as part of the planning process, including when your suppliers can begin setting up and when everything needs to be cleared. Your producer will make sure all of this is mapped out in plenty of time, so there are no surprises for anyone on the day.
Yes, dogs are welcome for the ceremony and drinks reception. Once the wedding breakfast begins, the team ask that they are takenoff the grounds.
Yes! Kilvert Hall, our main party space, is where live music really comes into its own. Please speak to your producer about the specifics, including any sound considerations relevant to the time of year and the nature of your entertainment. We want the party to be everything you've dreamed of, and we'll help you plan it accordingly.
There’s easy access from the car park into the main house, and inside the house and bedrooms we have appropriate facilities.
The Dressing Room is kitted out with a hair-washing station, hairdryers, styling tools, an oversized mirror and a shower, making it ideal for your hair and make-up team and the whole getting-ready morning. There's plenty of room for a group, too. Up on the top floor you'll find our speakeasy-style Barbers, perfect for the other half of the party.
All 12 of our bedrooms are exclusively yours — including our grandest rooms with freestanding bathtubs overlooking the gardens.
