Wellington Barn is an exclusive licensed wedding venue in rural Wiltshire, conveniently situated near Bath, Swindon, Salisbury and Newbury. Celebrate your wedding, civil ceremony, or civil partnership in our beautiful ancient oak beamed barn, grounds, wild flower meadow or oak gazebo surrounded by the picturesque Wiltshire countryside. We can promise an intimate relaxed atmosphere for your service, ceremony and reception, allowing you to enjoy the most memorable of occasions. We have a range of accommodation available: Hyggee House - a spectacular boutique hotel style eco house sleeping up to 10 guests - 2 night minimum stay. Blacklands Mill House - beautiful converted mill house sleeping up to 12 guests - 2 night minimum stay. 3 gorgeous Shepherds Huts on site, each sleeping up to 2 people. 3 x Glamping Huts, all sleeping 4. They are equipped with an ensuite toilet and shower and tea and coffee-making facilities. 5 glamping bell tents each sleeping 2-4 guests - available from April - September Breath-taking scenery, exquisite food, & the very best team to guide you...come and see for yourselves, we'd love to hear from you.

The Team and I are thrilled to welcome you to Wellington Barn, in beautiful Wiltshire. We would love to invite you for a viewing so we can show you the tranquility and intimacy of the Barn. I am fortunate to have a dedicated, friendly, and personable team who are incredibly passionate about weddings and will do everything to make sure you have the Wedding you have always dreamed of.
In 2026 we will be celebrating 20 years of business so rest assured, you are in very safe hands!

- HHarriet09/10/2025Disappointing Experience and Poor Organisation Disappointing Experience and Poor OrganisationOur experience at Wellington Barn was deeply disappointing. The day was overshadowed by poor organisation, constant miscommunication, and repeated failures to follow the plans we had clearly agreed. Staff were unprepared, key details were wrong, and we were left resolving issues ourselves instead of enjoying our wedding. What made it worse was the venue’s response afterward - rather than accepting responsibility or offering an apology, management denied every concern raised. I would strongly advise other couples to look elsewhere.Our experience at Wellington Barn was deeply disappointing. They made everything PERFECT in every single way possible. Millie arranged for us to view the venue one evening as we were limited with our availability, even though I’m sure it meant she had to stay late! We were well looked after and it was clear from our visit that the staff at Wellington Barn truly care about the couples they work with and would be supportive in making your wedding dreams a reality.Whilst we have decided that Wellington Barn isn’t the right venue for us, I would highly recommend it to others based on our experience with them. They really catered to my every need, I had a question they answered it! I had an annoying last minute request they went above and beyond to fulfil them!! We had a very big family issue 6 weeks before our wedding and when I sent an email out to Lauren she then forwarded this and kept everyone in the loop when I was unable to! I cannot thank them enough for their amazing service and time they took to help me and cater exactly to my needs!! Also a huge shout out to Chloe who was with me every step of the way organising and keeping me sane when some things went ary!! You guys truly are the best team and made my day one in a million! 5* venue 5* service 5* communication I could go on all day!! The location is absolutely beautiful, the caterers (epic catering) are incredible and the staff at Wellington Barn are so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us especially Chloe who is worth her weight in gold! Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Almost anywhere, inside & out, but our unique stunning wildflower meadow nestled amongst the rolling Wiltshire downs between May & September is a big favourite.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have hosted Olympians and professional rugby players - that was really fun
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our delicious mini fish and chips!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Wood fired pizza from our outdoor kitchen & Toasting marshmallows on our fire pits!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The "Old Barn" . It remains the most untouched part of our barn, as the brickwork and some of the wood remains from the original building prior to its renovation. The Owner used to camp here as a child!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our fabulous team! We regularly receive feedback not only from couples, but happy wedding guests about the staffs attentiveness and can do attitudes!
